Earlier this month, Kelly Ripa and Electrolux held a Chari-tea party at the very fashionable Plaza Hotel in New York City, oooh la la. She invited mothers and their daughters to partake in a good ol’ fashioned ladies tea party that was fun but also held for a very good cause. This special event supported The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF)
The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund supports research:
• to find better tests that can diagnose ovarian cancer earlier and more precisely,
• to understand what causes ovarian cancer, and
• to develop improved treatments.
Now Kelly and Electrolux know that we all obviously could not attend the real life tea party so they have also created a virtual tea party where you can choose an outfit, pick your tea set and invite friends to the party. When you do, Electrolux will donate $1 to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
