Keeping Your Little Ones Stylish & Warm This Winter

As we head into winter, you’ll need to start dressing your kids in clothing that will keep them warm and cozy. The last thing you want is for them to be shivering in the icy wind or catching a cold that they can’t shake. However, it can also be difficult to get kids in the clothing you want them to wear, so choose something stylish too and they will be excited to put it on. 

Here are a few warm and stylish winter essentials, to get you ready for cold weather: 

Winter Coat

Boys’ winter coats are essential as we head towards Christmas and into January. Your son will wear it every single day over his outfit, whether he is on his way to school, playing with friends at the park or heading out with the family for a roast at the weekend. While it will keep him warm outside, it can be removed as soon as he is inside. But, you want the coat to be just as stylish as the outfit beneath it. Make sure it has a hood in case it rains or snows and has plenty of space to layer tops and jumpers beneath it. Pockets are always a bonus for boys and a fleecy lining will provide extra warmth.

Wellies 

Boys love nothing more than running through mud and splashing in puddles. Whether you have a pet that requires your youngster to take a daily walk, he loves to play outside, or he’ll be taking a stroll in it to build a snowman, if we are lucky enough to get snow – wellies will keep his feet warm and dry. Opt for a block color such as blue or black for a really warm and stylish look that can be paired with any outfit. Don’t forget a snuggly pair of socks to slip beneath them. 

Long-sleeved shirt

Shirts always look smart and can make any outfit warm and stylish. They can be paired with jeans and high top trainers or chinos and leather boots. The long sleeves provide the warmth they need when just wearing the shirt but it can also be layered under a jumper and coat, both of which can be removed to reveal it when they step inside. 

Hat, scarf and gloves 

Knitted accessories are the perfect way to ensure that your little man is warm and stylish during the winter. They can be worn with any outfit and easily removed along with their coat, when you are inside or if they get too hot. Choose fingerless gloves or mittens and they can easily play without having to remove the whole glove. For a really stylish look, make sure these all match. Then they can be paired with a smart or casual outfit. 

Leather boots  

There is no shoe more stylish than leather boots. These sturdy shoes are ideal to walk around in chillier conditions and will keep their feet warm, even on the coldest days. They can be worn with various outfits and are perfect whether your little one is dressing up or going for a more casual look.
