Writer for The Fashionable Housewife: We are looking for someone who loves hunting down the best deals on apparel, footwear and handbags and who has an eye for quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Write, report and edit daily content for The Fashionable Housewife, including photo features, news items and reviews.
-Pitch story ideas, deliver new daily content and monitor competitive web sites daily.
-Develop relationships with publicists and secure exclusive features and interviews for the site.
-Contribute style content across the blog including features, trend alerts and product reviews.
-Maintain and grow social media on Twitter, Facebook and other networks as they develop.
-Coordinate reviews with giveaways and contests, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Experience in writing and editing, including 1+ year working at a content-based fashion/beauty web site or other similar fast-paced publication as a proven editorial
contributor.
-The ability to work under pressure on tight deadlines.
-Strong organizational skills.
-Proven ability to provide self-direction and take direction from senior staff.
-Experience working in a team environment.
-Strong headline writing skills.
-Witty and fun writing style is a must; copy-editing skills are a plus.
-Experience working with HTML is a plus.
Writer for The Fashionable Bambino: We’re looking for moms with children of any age who have an interest in any of the following: Cute Baby Clothes, Maternity & Pregnancy, Eco-Friendly Options, Breastfeeding, Health & Fitness, Baby Wearing, Clothes for Moms, Cloth Diapering, etc. If you love shopping for baby/child related things, we want you to blog about it!
We are also looking for someone interested in “Mommy Blogging” with a witty and fun writing style who will write about their daily struggles and triumphs with parenting.
