Beautiful bag, right? It’s the Linea Pelle Dylan Croco Shoulder bag in Topaz (orange). It’s from the Fall 2008 collection, but shhhh don’t tell! I think it will still look great with all my Fall 2009 outfits. Only bag snobs will know it’s from last years collection and we’re not out to impress them, right? haha
PurseBlog.com blogged about this cool bag back in August 2008 touting it as a must-buy. It was that review that ultimately made me decide to snag the bag on ideeli and I bought the last one.
It retails for $575 and was on ideeli today for $199. I managed to get it for $134 including shipping because I had $75 in credits. I don’t like spending that much on a handbag, but I am a huge fan of Linea Pelle since I won an LP bag in a twitter contest from PurseBlog.com. The leather is so soft and supple and the interior so roomy and sleek. I just love the look of the studs too. Reminds me of the Rebecca Minkoff Spring 2009 collection โDawn At The Beachโ. We all know studs are a hot trend this year, so I really think this bag will work great for Summer into Fall and possible even next Spring.
If you really like this bag, you can get it in yellow on Piperlime.com for $339.99. I also found it in black on BoutiqueToYou.com for $495, but that’s really not much of a deal. I would bet that there will be another Linea Pelle boutique before Fall, either on RueLaLa, Hautelook, or maybe on Gilt Group. I’ll keep my eyes peeled if anyone is interested!
