I Got My Hair Trimmed & Styled
Just got back from having my hair trimmed at Cassandra Salon. My stylist, Jon, is fantastic. He always makes my hair look great no matter what.
Last time I got my hair cut was in November, and I was due for another haircut a week before Christmas, but we had a big snowstorm and they didn’t plow my road (we live on a dead end road) and I had to cancel my appointment. The next availability was today, which was over 2 weeks later! So I went 7 weeks without a trim.
Because the back of my bob was tapered and stacked, it grew out really funny… I have a TON of hair and it’s wicked thick so it was flat on the top and looked like a frizzy bush in the back. It was close to unmanageable for over a week now, so I was very anxious to get to my appointment!!!
I had him cut it in such a way so that it will be easier to grow out without needing it trimmed constantly. I made my next appointment for 4 weeks from now. And I’m also going to get my eyebrows waxed and shaped for THE FIRST TIME. I’ll have to let you know how that goes… I’m a little nervous!
Be careful of the waxing. I just say that because of how sensitive you have said your skin is.
They always look flawless afterwords, but I have yet to find any of the waxes or creams they use that don’t cause me to break out everywhere I get waxed.
I am lucky that my girl is a wizard with the tweezers. It got used to the plucking after 2-3 visits. My brows look great and I no more breakouts!

I know, I know! I take HORRIBLE pictures!
In my defense, my husband was taking the picture and well… he really sucks at taking pictures of me. He doesn’t tell me which way to turn my head or to smile or anything. He just aims the camera at me and clicks, even if I’m in the middle of a sentence telling me when to take the picture.
Ugh! But don’t look at me… look at the hair!
