
As if things weren’t hectic enough through Halloween, now that it’s November it’s time to start gearing up for the holidays. ย Meal planning, travel planning, gift planning, shopping, holiday cards, school events, parties, entertaining…it never ends, and it can take a toll on even the heartiest of fashionable housewives. ย To keep your cool when everyone and everything else is spinning around you, make sure that you take some time every day to quiet your mind and slow down. ย Try taking a nap for 20 minutes. ย Have a cup of tea and read your favorite magazine.

If you can make it to the gym or a yoga class, by all means go, and savor your time there. ย If not, even a few simple yoga postures or a brisk walk around the neighborhood can go a long way in helping you keep things in perspective.
