Heather Parry and A Star is Born – What You Didn’t Know

Heather Parry joined Live Nation Productions in December 2015 as the president of production. Soon after arriving at the company, the goal-driven producer quickly dived into work that would see the production of various movies and artist-based documentaries.

One of the films Heather Parry has worked on is the critically acclaimed A Star is Born, of which she was the executive producer and worked alongside, Bradley Cooper who made his directorial debut. This movie, a musical drama remake of the 1937 movie with the same title, hit the screens in 2018. 

The musical drama stars director and producer, Cooper and pop legend, Lady Gaga whose vocal talent was instrumental to the success of the movie’s soundtrack. Approximately two hours long, A Star is Born made its TV premiere on HBO on June 8, 2019. Unfortunately, the movie isn’t streaming on Netflix or Hulu. A Star is Born is a heartfelt story of love and a heart-rending struggle to change. In it, a seasoned singer, Jackson Maine (played by Cooper) meets Ally (played by Gaga), who is struggling to establish her name as an artist. Jack, who is battling alcoholism, helps Ally pursue her dreams and along the way, the two fall in love. Ally’s career seems to take off. However, Jack’s career only seems to be taking a knock and he relapses to cope with this harsh reality.  We think Heather Parry did an amazing job on this one.
