What’s In The Box?!

The 5 books we received in our Literati Kid’s Subscription Box were great this month! We received:

Our box even included one book that hasn’t even been released yet! The Guess The Animals lift-the-flap book isn’t going to be released until June 1st so we were really excited to see that one in our box! My kids LOVE lift-the-flap books so this one was a real big winner!

Literati Kids Subscription Box currently has five age brackets to pick from: Neo (0-3 years), Sprout (3-5 years), Nova (5-7 years), Sage (7-9 years) and Phoenix (9-12 years). 

If the kids are in the playroom or the living room, they tend to get distracted by all their toys or ask for TV. But outside, there are much fewer distractions (surprisingly)! I’ve found that setting up their Pottery Barn Kids TeePee outside ensures they will take time to stop, slow down, and read for a while. I also supplement this invitation to play with a few activities to let them exercise and work on their gross motor skills too.

Today I set up their slide and balance beam with their teepee. Other times, we bring out the pikler triangle and wooden climbing arch. This helps give them something else to do when they are done reading.

My 4 year old’s favorite book out of the Literati Kids box, was Where’s Jane?
