Get Glowing Skin With Perricone No Foundation Foundation

Dr. Perricone’s No Makeup Foundation (formerly called Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation) is an advanced anti-aging translucent foundation that is unlike any foundation you’ve ever tried before. Dr. Perricone created this unique product to keep skin looking dewy and flawless all day long without that heavy makeup look. This stuff is like the OG BB cream.
I like that the formula has many of the benefits you find from a traditional foundation without the heavy matte finish, which emphasizes the tiniest skin imperfections. No Makeup Foundation is a multi-purpose product that provides natural translucent coverage, corrects skin undertones, instantly smooths out fine lines and boosts skin’s natural moisture throughout the day, all the while delivering antioxidant benefits.
- Instantly reduces the appearance of wrinkles, lines and pores.
- Provides non-chemical SPF 30 broad spectrum UV protection
- Corrects skin undertones.
- Quick-absorbing
- Moisturizes
- Antioxidant benefits
Dr. Perricone recommends you apply No Makeup Foundation on top of other treatments and/or moisturizers. In gentle, circular motions, apply all over your face and reapply as often as necessary. It’s like a tinted moisturizer, but better.
I found that applying a moisturizer first is absolutely essential. This is not a primer, it’s a foundation. I saw several reviews on Sephora that complained that this was a lousy primer…? I’m not sure why they were under the impression that this was primer. It doesn’t say that anywhere in the description. Perhaps Sephora mistakenly listed it under primers for a little while and then corrected the problem? I have no idea. Either way, I definitely wanted to point out that this is not a primer and if you think it is, you probably won’t like it.
I actually recommend using Urban Decay’s Brightening Complexion Primer Potion as a primer and then using the No Makeup Foundation on top.
If you have dry skin, you should use something like Perricone’s Neuropeptide Facial Contour Cream first and then apply the foundation on top of that.
Forgive me, I’m not used to taking pictures of makeup swatches! You can see that the color of the foundation is darker than my actual skin tone, but once you apply, it completely blends in with your natural skin color.
You only need a tiny bit! One pump is the perfect amount to apply over your entire face. About half a pump is all you need to cover your neck and blend down into your chest (if you are so inclined). If you use too much, it will not blend as well and you may be unhappy with the results. Less is more with this product and it really does perform quite well.
If you don’t like the feeling of heavy foundation or you don’t usually wear any foundation at all, then you’re going to love Perricone’s No Makeup Foundation. I think it is ideal for women ages 35 – 65. If you are under 35 or have oily skin, you may want to apply a light powder on top if you feel that it leaves your skin too moist and shiny. Anyone with normal to dry skin is absolutely going to love this foundation!
I’ve been wanting to try this foundation for awhile now. I first saw it at Sephora and read a bunch of the reviews, but I’m just not comfortable buying it online without seeing the shade first. I am 42 and have quite a few wrinkles, so I’m looking forward to trying something that doesn’t get caked in them! :-)
Thanks!
Go to your local Sephora and check out the shade. I have VERY pale milky white skin and it actually blends in quite well. The key with this products is: Less is more. You really only need 1 pump. More than that, and it won’t blend as well.
And you definitely need to use a moisturizer first or a makeup primer like I mentioned. If you follow those two tips, you’ll be VERY happy with this foundation! I highly recommend it for someone like you. I think you’ll like it.
I’d love to win this No Foundation Foundation! It’s my B-Day, yahoo for 47, but need a little help!
Never have tried Perricone, would like to see what this product does. If it’s good, I’d tell everyone!
Would love to try out this product. I have oily skin, so i’d love to see how it’d work on my skin type and complexion.
I got a free sample of this from Sephora today and the cashier told me it was a primer. Maybe that’s why people are confused.
