If you have ever watched Fashion Police, they have a little segment where they ask the stars their favorite beauty buys under $20 are. They range from $20 lotions to a 99 cent jar of Vaseline.
I donโt know about all of you, but I LOVE beauty and makeup products! (to a fault sometimes!!) Iโve tried the cheapest to the most expensive and found that many of the lesser priced items work just as well, if not better, than their higher priced counterparts. I thought I’d take a stab and offer 5 of my favorites I currently use. I made my list under $25 since I have one that’s a little more.
Olay Definity Correcting Protective Lotion SPF15
Fights the appearance of skin discolorations while helping prevent future damage.
My skin isnโt oily but I have a real problem with moisturizers making it that way. Iโve been using this product for about 3 months and I really see a difference in my skin. Itโs improved th3 tone and texture of my skin quite a bit. My fiance even mentioned how great my skin is looking! The added sunscreen without being heavy is a real plus for me.

Clinique High Impact Mascara
Kicks up the volume and length of each and every lash for a look that’s lusher, plusher, bolder. Pure, deep colour only adds to the impact. Wear it once and you’ll feel naked without it.
I swear I have tried about every mascara out there and been disappointed more times that I can count. Until I found this! It’s volumizing without being clumpy or giving you spider lashes. Two coats is plenty to give you fuller, softer and longer lashes. I love this prodct so much, that I be using it on my wedding day in March!

Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide
Protective smoother is a leave-in serum that provides heat-safe control to tame frizz on even the most unruly hair. Gives an ultra-smooth, glossy finish.
Great for straightening, or taming frizz and curls. My hair is on the fine side, so I have a hard time with products weighing my hair down. I’ve had good luck with this. A little goes a long way.
$17.00 for 5.0oz on Amazon,
but I got mine from my salon for $14.85.
Cetaphilยฎ Gentle Cleansing Bar
A soap-free bar for head-to-toe cleaning.
Cetaphilยฎ Gentle Cleansing bar is a gentle, non-alkaline, non-soap bar designed for dry, sensitive skin that moisturizes as it cleans. It is free of harsh detergents that might dry or irritate your skin. This bar is ideal for all-over body cleansing in the bath or shower and is available in a 4.5-ounce bar.
I’ve been washing my face with this for almost 4 years and I don’t think I’ll ever change to anything else. An ‘Allure Best of Beauty Award Winner’ this bar is a steal for under $4 bucks! Wal-Mart, Target, Rite-Aid or any drugstore should carry it.
M*A*C Viva Glam V Lipglass
A unique lip gloss available in a wide variety of colors that can create a high gloss, glass-like finish or a subtle sheen. Shade description: Neutral pink with pearl.
This is my go-to-color when I need a quick touch up for my lips. Just a kiss of color to finish your look. I often wear it alone, but it’s great over lipstick as well. When I do that, I usually pair with Twig or Del Rio, also by MAC.
