FHI HEAT’s Runway Named “Best Flat Iron” by InStyle Magazine
FHI HEAT’s Runway Named “Best Flat Iron” by InStyle for Second Consecutive Year in “Best Beauty Buys” Issue.
FHI Heat, the hair industry’s leading innovator in ceramic, tourmaline and Nano-Fuzeion technologies, announces that its Runway styling iron has been named “Best Flat Iron” by InStyle for its “Best Beauty Buys” April 2009 issue. The magazine features the Runway in both its print issue and online at www.instyle.com. This represents the second straight year the Runway has received this distinction.
“We are deeply honored to have received this prestigious recognition once again,” states David Kim, CEO of FHI Heat, Inc., global manufacturer of professional hair tools. “FHI Heat continues to receive accolades from the industry’s top hairstylists working in the U.S. as well as Canada, the U.K., Europe, Australia, South Africa and Latin America, where our products are distributed. It’s very rewarding to know that the Runway styling iron has been positively experienced by so many hairstylists around the world.”
The FHI Heat Runway Professional Ceramic Tourmaline Styling Iron
perfects the art of coiffing hair by employing a patented Integrated Ceramic Heating System (I.C.H.S.), which allows it to recover lost heat extremely effectively so that the iron maintains optimal temperature even when applied to damp hair. Like all FHI Heat styling tools, it also employs proprietary Nano-Fuzeion technology, which is a unique combination of Nano-Titanium, Nano-Titanium Oxide and Nano-Silver particles. Together, the triple function of the Nano-Fuzeion technology removes bacteria, toxins and static, producing superior conditioning and shine, while providing unmatched health and purification benefits for the hair.
The FHI Heat Runway Professional Ceramic Tourmaline Styling Iron has a remarkably wide temperature range, going from 140º F to 450º F degrees, making it ideal for all hair types. Other features include: six hand-baked, hand-fused solid 1″-wide ceramic plates covered by a large quantity of crushed tourmaline crystals, which makes this iron more potent in producing greater amounts of far-infrared heat, which gently heats hair from the inside out to minimize heat damage. With the aid of the tourmaline crystals, these irons produce more negative ions, helping break water molecules and allowing hair to be conditioned from the inside out. Additional benefits include: curling hair with the beveled edges of the ceramic plates; ultra-rapid heating; damp to dry styling; protecting color and preventing color fading; sealing the cuticle to lock in moisture and repel humidity, which helps eliminate frizz.

Are you kidding me? A flat iron for over $400? I have to say that this post disappoints me in so many ways. First, That you would put this on this sight. I like to come to this sight to see what deals you have and usually they can be quite affordable. Are you now becoming another one of those sights that advertise things that normal people do not purchase or can even think of wanting to purchase…
for me the best flat iron is CHI – I bought it on ebay for $60 and it is perfect. I am so happy I finally found a flat iron that is actually working and I am not screwing my hair anymore.
@1 I’m sorry you were disappointed in this post, Christine. I try not to post about “unaffordable” things. I wasn’t trying to get people to buy this product. It received an award for being the best flat iron and I thought people could read about the things that make this the best and use that information to find a flat iron they CAN afford that will help them achieve the results they are looking for. I guess I should have found some comparable alternatives, but I didn’t have time to do that. I was on vacation and only took the time out of my day to post the information I had at hand…
I will try to post about some affordable, high quality flat irons in the future, if you are interested.
I must comment on the complainer. I think that posting this about the FHI is a way for us to save money if you calculate correctly. I purchased this iron and have saved over $1500 so far. I use to have to get my hair straightened every two weeks which cost me $70 dollars and it was becoming too expensive for me. The iron the professioanl stylist was using on my hair was this iron, the FHI. I am so happy with this iron and it works like no other and I have tried a lot of irons ranging in price from $20 to $160 and this one tops them all. I appreciate the authors post about the goodness of this iron because it truly deserves the recognition. Cheap is not alway better and may cause damaging affects to your hair.
@4 Thank you SO MUCH! It’s so refreshing to have someone stand up for me once in a while!!
xoxo
Flat iron are of great demand, but finding the good quality flat iron at the best price is a real challenge when you go for an online shopping. Better to go through a couple of websites before you buy one.
I purchased my FHI HEAT Runway a couple years ago and I love it. I also was hesitant because of the huge price difference but I decided to make the investment. I did find it for a much better price at https://www.beautygalaxy.com, only$220. What I like about this iron is, it stays so consistent heat wise and definately makes my hair feel silky like no other iron have have used before.
