I’ve tried MANY baby carriers in the last several years, with both my kids, and my favorite to-date is without a doubt, the ERGObaby carrier. It’s the most comfortable, easy to use carrier. My son is totally comfortable to be in it for literally hours. He’s so happy and peaceful as long as he’s strapped on to Mama! Nursing is easy with the Ergo too. I am so happy I got to review the Ergo baby carrier as it has quickly become my favorite thing. I got it last Friday and I have been using it daily, ever since.
Thank goodness they teamed up with PPB to make these adorable and totally fashionable baby carriers. I am in love!

Not as hot as you’d think. My son was born in July last year and I used the Ergo carrier for the rest of the Summer when we went out. Because of vents that are built into the cloth carrier air actually does circulate a lot better than the one we tried with my daughter when she was born a few years ago. Because of the way it’s made, you can put your hands inside as well and that can help air circulate better as well. Also there’s a head-guard/shade that works very well. WITH the infant insert I found it cooler for me and baby for the baby to be carried in the Ergo as compared to in my arms, and cooler for baby as compared to a baby-bucket/infant-carseat. Don’t knock it til you try it.
It’s a year later now and I still use the Ergo with my now 1 year old son, and have friends marvel that he still fits and that I still insist it’s comfortable (much more comfortable for both of us than me carrying him with my arms, he gets excited when he sees it and prefers it over being held because it’s such a secure feeling.) And it’s summer again and the heat doesn’t make it unbearable (nor does he break out, unlike my daughter who broke out terribly from her car-seat in the summer and being held and my arm going across her.)
So no, it’s not as hot as you’d think.
