Women usually need certain things when they are going about their daily routines. Logically, the most common place where they keep and carry these items is in their handbags. As a woman, you may wonder what to carry in your handbag to ensure that you are ready for any situation.
Whether you have a large purse or a small clutch and do not know what to carry in it, here are a few items you should try and have on you at all times. You never know when you may need them!
A GOOD Purse
While the size of the purse you carry comes down to personal preference, no woman should walk around without one. Busy moms need lots of pockets, easy to access pockets on the outside, and most importantly, the bag has be easy to clean! Bags like the Ju-Ju-Be BFF cater to the modern mom that wants a stylish handbag with all the features she needs.
For those who wear a lot of make-up, or start feeling self-conscious throughout the day, having a make-up bag close by can be a life saver. Your makeup bag should include lipstick, powder, an eyeliner, and mascara at the very least. These products will prove to be invaluable wherever you go.
The importance of having a fresh fragrance and aura around you cannot be emphasized enough. Every woman should ensure that they pack perfume in their handbag before leaving the house. It is an important product that will ensure a lingering scent at all times.
Pair of Tights
No woman enjoys looking down at her outfit and realizing the tights she’s been wearing all day have ripped or laddered. To prevent this from ruining your look or causing you embarrassment, put a spare pair of quality sheer tights into your bag to use as a back-up.
Pads and Panty Liners
Even if you know your little friend is unlikely to make an appearance for several weeks, you may meet a lady who needs a pad. When that time of the month comes a little early when you are out and away from home, you won’t have to worry. You will be well-equipped to handle the situation. I always have a few Kotex pantiliners in my purse just in case!
In case a migraine or cramps hit at a time when you cannot access a pharmacy or shop, you’re going to want something to take the discomfort away. You can buy boxes of aspirin fairly cheap, so there’s no excuse for not buying an extra pack for your bag!
While some people may take these items for granted, they will come in handy when you have a sudden nosebleed, smear your makeup or experience unexpected spills. Even if you don’t have a “baby”, you should always have some Water Wipes on hand.
USB Flash Drive
For the office working women, a USB flash drive can help you to easily transfer and save documents you need to take home with you. This will save you having to print stacks of paper and is overall so much more convenient than any other option.
Portable Phone Charger
Most of us use our smartphones to communicate more than we talk to each other in person. We also rely on them for our daily tasks and emergencies, so if you are going to be away from home for a long period of time, it may shut off just when you need it most. You should ensure that you carry a portable charger in your bag so that you can easily recharge your battery.
When we are out in public, we are constantly coming into contact with germs and bacteria. It is therefore important to include a hand sanitiser, or at least hand wipes, to help you prevent stomach viruses, runs and headaches. These items will enable you to observe proper hygiene wherever you may be.
No woman likes it when her hands or heels are feeling dry. When you are worried about your skin cracking or are conscious about dry elbows and knees, the lotion you carry in your bag will sort you out. I have Zim’s Max Crack Creme in my handbag.
Having these items in reach will prove to be a life saver.
