Do You Tattoo?
Once upon a time tattoos were only for sailors and biker boys. Now it seems that everyone is getting inked, and in some very creative ways. Personally, I think a well placed, meaningful tattoo can be quite beautiful. If you ever wondered what body art would look like but didn’t want the commitment, there are now several options for temporary tattoos. Sephora.com offers a wide selection of temporary tattoos from Dereon (yes, the same Dereon as Beyonce) and Temptu. From Tribal bands to Girly Chic, you can experiment with whatever suits your mood. Sephora even sells Tattoo Concealer by Kat Von D in case, like Kat, you overindulged in the real thing!

Chanel rocked the runway recently featuring models wearing body art. I love the garter and stocking seam look, but might feel more comfortable with one of their more subtle neck designs.

You can experiment with Chanel’s look as they sell their own Les Trompe L’Oeil de Chanel Skin art for $75 on their website, Chanel.com

What do you think? Do you prefer the flexibility of semi-permanent tattoos or would you fully commit and get real ink? Or do you like to keep things in their original state? Send us a comment and tell us your thoughts…
Hey Sara, it’s nice to find another CommentLuv blog that I can visit.
I have a small tattoo (it’s a beauty mole) but I could go for a larger temporary one. I haven’t been to Sephora this month so I’m going to head over there and check them out. I admire those brave souls that are bold enough to commit but I’m chicken :)
Thanks Sare, I’ll be sharing this on Twitter.
Yes, I tattoo. I love each of the 4 that I have.
One Tat, got it when I was young and foolish but still like it now. Long stemmed rose on my cleavage!
I tattoo. I’ve got 3 – one on my inside right ankle, outside left ankle, and lower back – then there are the piercings. Nose, Monroe, and ears. :) I don’t do the fake ones. After putting so many temporary tattoos on my kids and having the real, they feel almost kid-like to me.
The ones above are pretty, but I don’t think I’d ever wear them myself.
Tattoos aren’t for me…just not something that ever really appealed to me. I don’t have a problem with them, though.
I would also be too scared of the pain. hehe :)
I have one tattoo that I drew myself. It is only visible when in a bathing suit or naked. I am glad that I have it but also glad that is in a spot that isnt regularly advertised to the world. My husband and I talked about getting Fleur de Lis tat’s on our side > one on his right side and one on my left side. He just got his Wednesday and wants me to get mine. I am not so sure…..
I like the way they look, but I would never get one myself. I like to play around with fake ones every now and then.
