Carefree Thin & Absorbent Acti-Fresh Pantyliners

Have you heard about the new CAREFREE® ACTI-FRESH liners? I’m sure you’ve seen the commercials… They are designed to deliver the “ultimate freshness throughout your day”. Designed with a new core that’s 40% thinner and more absorbent than previous Carefree liners. New CAREFREE® ACTI-FRESH™ liners also have an 8-hour odor control system so all you feel is freshness.

I’ve been using the same brand of liners for over 15 years now. I’m loyal. I love them. So when Carefree asked if I wanted to try out the new Acti-Fresh liners, I didn’t have very high expectations.

I was definitely surprised by these new liners….

They are definitely thin… So thin, I thought “Oh boy, I’ll have to change this thing in a couple hours!” I know, TMI, but what do you expect for a PANTYLINER review????!!!!

Seriously though…. these acti-fresh liners are very deceiving! Super thin yet very absorbent, almost like a maxi pad. Definitely good insurance against light bladder leakage or just every day wetness…

The only thing I didn’t like was……. feeling damp.

I’m used to the Clean Weave breathable layer on my old liners that helps keep me feeling dry and clean. While these Carefree liners are incredibly soft, moveable, thin, comfortable and absorbent, I didn’t exactly feel “fresh“.

These will probably work for most women that just need very light protection against accidents or day-to-day freshness and protecting their favorite panties.

For me, I have different needs and want a little more from my pantyliner than these provided. Wearing a pantyliner is part of my daily routine to guard against everday discharge. I don’t necessarily need odor protection (which these boast to have) but I do want to feel dry, which they did for the first few hours. By the end of the day though, my liner wasn’t exactly “forgettable”….. I will use these from time to time but for every day use, they aren’t quite enough for me.

They are definitely better than the old Carefree liners. More absorbent, softer, and more comfortable. However, they aren’t the best pantyliners in the world. At least not for me. I do think they would work great for most women though and I encourage you to at least give them a try and see what you think!
