I received a sample of the lip gloss to review a couple weeks ago. I love the color. It’s not as bright as I expected it to be considering it’s described as a rosy pink. I don’t think “Raspberry” was the right name for this color, because normally I would not be able to wear pink lip gloss. This seems like the perfect shade for me though… It’s like a light pinkish brown color with a nice shimmer to it.
The site says that their Shimmer Lip Gloss is non-sticky but I tend to disagree. While I normally don’t like sticky lip glosses, this one isn’t the same kind of “sticky” I usually steer clear of. It just has a thick texture, which I find helps it stay on longer than most lip glosses. I can get a few hours of wear out of this if I’m not eating or drinking.

It’s a small container for the price, but I think it’s worth it if you’re looking for a longer wearing gloss with bold color and coverage. It looks great alone or layered with lipstick. It even works well on top of long lasting lip colors like Maybelline SuperStay Lip Color.

I purchased Bobbi Brown lipglosses in the past. I agree, it’s sticky & thick, but in a not so bad way. The application brushes are horrible though. They’re stiff and feel awful on the lips.
Really, I didn’t think the brush was bad at all? I mean I had to dip it back in the container probably 4 times to cover my lips, but it’s not picky or bristly. I think I would prefer the standard sponge applicator though…
The shade looks beautiful. It might be worth a try!
