No, they aren’t Magna-tiles. They are better. Connetix looked at all the complaints parents and kids had about Magna-tiles with their weak magnets and poor designs and they decided they could do things better. So they did.

If you have Magna-tiles, go ahead and list them on the Facebook Marketplace or eBay right now because you NEED to get your kids Connetix for Christmas. They can finally build all the things they wanted to build and couldn’t. So many more possibilities with Connetix’s ultra-strong magnets and unique design. I did an unscientific test comparing the two brands and the difference is INSANE. You can look up other people’s tests on YouTube if you want to see them for yourself.
