Kirsten from Barking Dog Shoes reviews Born Zola and the Born Allee. Both are super cute shoes and I thought everyone over here at The Fashionable Housewife would want to know more about these 2 gorgeous styles that are perfect for Fall!
Am I wearing heels for the photo shoot or do I actually walk around in these for hours? I think you know the answer, but let me give a plug for this gorgeous shoe by Born anyway.
I first came across the Born Zola last season while browsing comfortable shoes online and was immediately smitten by the eggplant color and the funky, retro styling.
Now let’s just pretend I don’t have rheumatoid arthritis for a minute. Let’s say I have “normal” feet and ankles (ok, so throw in a small bunion because who doesn’t have one at my age?). NOW how do these feel? Based on reviews from fairly normal-footed customers, the Born Zola is one fabulous heel. A few quotes from Shoeline.com reviewers:
I typically don’t wear this high of a heel but have no problem in these – even when working on my feet all day in retail. JP, Chicago.
I wore them for my high school reunion and danced a lot. Renee, South Carolina.
These shoes are sexy and extremely comfortable. I only wear Born now because of the style quality and comfort. They’re worth every penny. Heather, NY.
Agreed. I can tell that on a good foot day, I’d be able to walk comfortably in the Born Zola (room for toes, stable heel, cushioned, lightweight). Those days have just been few and far between lately.
If you love the color like I do, but don’t do peep-toes, take a look at the Born Allee, a new style this fall. The Allee comes in half sizes, while the Zola doesn’t. I’m actually wearing a size 9 in the photo but if you look closely, you’ll see my heel just barely hangs off the back. I bet the 10 would have been a better fit.
The Born Zola and Born Allee are both available at Shoeline.com for $124 with free shipping.
