Kids are going to play games whether you like it or not so you might as well give them something educational, right? That’s exactly what Sphero is. Fun and education all jam packed into one little glowing ball.
Honestly, I’m not one for games of any kind… I wasn’t really itching to give Sphero a spin. Whenever my husband got home from work though and saw the Sphero box sitting on my desk, he looked like a kid in a candy store. I blinked and suddenly the box was open and my iPhone had been swiped from me and was downloading the Sphero app. *sigh* Kids….
Within minutes my husband was driving the robotic ball around the house, the children were screaming and laughing, the dog was chasing it and they were all having so much fun!
The next day we decided to take Hank outside to play. We suited him up in his Orange Orbotix Nubby Cover and headed out the door.
The nubby cover cushions the robotic ball and protects it so it can drive over dirt, rocks, water and more! It comes in orange, green and blue. I really think they should have a pink one too…
Sphero 2.0 comes with 2 pop out ramps so you can start having fun right out of the box. Plus there are endless free games and apps available on iTunes and Google Play.
Since our kids are young we started out simple…
My family has been having so much fun with Sphero 2.0 for over a week now. Hank has become a part of the family!
Not only is Sphero a great tool for education, it’s a lot of fun too. It keeps kids attention making it easier for them to learn. A must-have for back to school and a great gift idea for the upcoming holidays too!
