I don’t get to the movies as often as I would like to so of course, I have to wait for things to come out on DVD to see what all the fuss is about… well today is the day that Academy-Award® winning Black Swan is out on Blu-ray and DVD. I could not be more excited. Critics raved about Natalie Portman’s performance… I mean, she won the Oscar for her role. It’s going to be good.

BLACK SWAN follows the story of Nina (Natalie Portman), a ballerina in the New York City Ballet trying to make it to the top. When artistic director Thomas Leroy (Vincent Cassel) decides to replace prima ballerina Beth MacIntyre (Winona Ryder) for the opening production of their new season, Swan Lake, Nina is his first choice. But a new dancer, Lily (Mila Kunis), also impresses Leroy and becomes Nina’s competition.
