A Most Meaningful Moment of 2011 with Meaningful Beauty®
When Meaningful Beauty® contacted us about our most meaningful moment of 2011, it was really hard to choose. I mean there are things that happen everyday that are meaningful and contribute to our life’s happiness but we managed to narrow it down. Our contributor Amanda, explains her Most Meaningful Moment of 2011, in the following video:

I really loved this post. You write about this topic very well. I really like your blog and I will definitely bookmark it! Keep up the super posts!
I am so happy for your mom! She must feel FANTASTIC! I know you are so proud of her.
My dad only got to go thru the 8th grade and then had to stay home to help out the family. He attained his GED while in the Army but he married my mom as soon as he got home from Germany so…no college just work.
After becoming disabled with a severe heart condition in his late 50’s my father decided to give college a go and at the age of 62 earned his Associate’s degree. Of course, during the graduation ceremony everyone was asked to hold their applause until the end which most everyone did…until my daddy walked up on the stage to receive his diploma. All 25 of us shot to our feet…hootin’ and hollerin’ like banshees and then…I look over…and every single one of my father’s professors…and some who’s class he didn’t even take…were also on their feet cheering right along with us!!
It has been more than a decade now that my daddy has been gone but one of the items most prominently shown on my mother’s bookcase is my daddy’s pic holding his diploma.
You’re never too old to chase AND catch your dream!
