Another Update On My Weight Loss
In my last post about Sensa, I told you all that I wanted get down to 120lbs before February 1st. At that time, I weighed 121lbs. For some bizarre reason though, this weekend I gained a pound and can’t seem to lose it! I got on the scale this morning and it said 122lbs. That’s what it’s said every morning since Friday… Grrrr.
So now I’m on an even bigger vendetta to lose those 2 stupid pounds before then end of the week. Maybe if I exercise more? Maybe if I eat less? Maybe if I drink more water??
The Daily Candy featured 2 articles about Sensa on January 7, 2009. Sensationally Thin and Sprinkle Your Way to Slim.

Looks like people are really starting to pick up on this phenomenal weight loss breakthrough. I’m glad I found Sensa when I did because it’s amazing how much it has helped me lose weight in the last 4 months.
Check back on February 2nd to see if I managed to get down to 120lbs! Wish me luck!!!
Sounds like your doing what I do and use the scales way way too much. Your weight will vary from day to day because of Water and such. More important is your Body Fat and shape your in.
If I weighted 122LB I would be dead. Actually dead about 6 months at least.
Also how accurate is your scales? Do you weight yourself at same time? I do mine in the AM right after I wake up (involves trip to basement before Coffee too).
I want to be about 240lb myself, but I am 77″ and a Guy too. Plus twice your age I bet. U sound like your like my daughter. She was Size 16 and 160+ and I bet she’s about 120lb (size 2) if I threw a bucket of water on her.
So your doing GREAT. My problem is Wife works and I do the cooking and it’s hard to eat Fruit or very light dinner.

Hey Steve,
When I’m not trying to lose weight, I only get on the scale like once a week, if even. When I’m trying to lose weight though, I get on the scale every single morning as soon as I wake up, but right after I’ve used the bathroom. (Want the lowest reading possible!)
My scale is very accurate. Only 1 pound under my doctor’s scale on average.
Yeah I’m not quite into a size 2 yet… I’m on my way though! I need to lose another couple inches around the middle first… I’m only 5’2″ so every pound really makes a huge difference on my small frame.
It IS hard to lose weight when you need to cook for someone else. I cook for my husband and daughter and they don’t exactly want raw fruits and veggies for dinner…. They’ve been mildly supportive though, eating better with me.
I think if I cut out another 250 calories a day or exercise for an extra 30 minutes or so, I can lose weight faster. I just really want to meet my goal of 120lbs before Sunday!
I just found your website….love it!
I’m feeling your frustration! After baby #3, I promised myself I would lose weight to feel better, look better, etc. I started Medi Weight Loss on Dec. 1, 2008 and I’m down 20 lbs. as of yesterday! I’m 5’4″ and for me to be a size 4-6 and weigh 125-130lbs., I’ve got 7 more lbs. to go and looking forward to a bikini in St. Lucia on Feb. 21! That’s been my focus this whole time! I need a goal to make the magic happen.
If you want to lose that stubborn pound or so, you need to change up your eating/exercise habits. The first week on this Dr. advised diet, I only ate 450 calories per day and lost 9 lbs. the first week! I know it sounds brutal, but it gets your body revved up to start losing. I’m now up to 650cal per day and it’s not too terrible. You want to get your body into ketosis so your metabolism will start burning those calories. To do that, take a couple of days and just focus on lean protein. No veggies, breads or fruits. 64-128 oz. of water. That’s the key! Exercise is important, but on really low calories, it’s hard to find the energy to exercise. The protein days should only last for a couple of days, then start adding back your veggies and a few fruits. I’m not a Dr., but this Dr. advised diet is really helping me to get these extra baby pounds off! Good Luck!
Thank you so much Tina! It’s wonderful to get encouragement from another mom in the same place as me. :-)
Congrats on your weight loss! It sounds like that diet plan is really working wonders for you!!
I did decrease my caloric intake for a few days to jump start my diet back in December. I lost like 7 or 8 pounds in 8 days, but it has been coming off a lot more slowly since then….
I am starting to exercise more, hoping that will help my body burn calories, but I think it’s just replacing fat with muscle right now and muscle weighs more than fat, so I am actually seeing my weight go up this week which is really depressing!!!
I got on the scale this morning and it said 124lbs!!!!!!!!!! I’m starting to think I’m not going to get down to 120lbs by the end of the week unless I just stop eating all together, which I obviously can’t do.
I’m still not eating any carbs… I hope it’s helping.
Check back with me in another week or 2 and let me know how you’re doing with those last 7 pounds. :-) Good luck!!
Hi Tina that doctor adviced diet was very similar to the diet I tried a long long time ago! I lost a lot of weight and had a lot of energy too! My favorite source of protein are boiled eggs, ham and lean chicken breast!
