I just don’t know what to do with myself… I’m head over heels for the Victoria’s Secret Spring 2009 Collection. I can’t even decide what I like best. There are so many pieces I love, I don’t even know where to start.
The first thing I spotted was the Crochet-top tunic for $148. As much as I don’t love the price, I totally love the top. It’s fun, flirty and oh so spring-ish!
I picture it with skirts, skinny jeans, wide leg trousers, and cuffed shorts. Oh the possibilities!
The style is similar to that of the Lacey slub tank ($58) and the Ruffle-front tank ($58).
Then there’s the Tiered ruffle cami ($48) and the uber sexy Flutter-sleeve Top with eyelet detail ($78). If I had to choose between all of those gorgeous blouses, I just don’t know which one I would pick. Do you?
There’s also a couple outfits I like too… Surprise, surprise.
First off, this Print dress ($78) and Silk cardigan sweater ($59) make a fabulous spring outfit. Light and flirty without being too cold. We know how Spring can take it’s sweet old time popping out and it’s nice to have a few outfits lined up that are great for Spring in theory, but that we won’t freeze our butts off in. This is one of them.
Another cold-weather Spring outfit I’m loving is the Full tab-waist skirt ($69.50) with the Silk crinkled shirt in plaid ($58). Nice and warm, but pretty colors for Spring.
I’m noticing a lot of mauve and sage greens in the Spring lines. Not just with Victoria’s Secret, but stores like Banana Republic and Nordstrom as well.
It looks like all of the New Arrivals at Victoria’s Secret have a lot of pastel & silk pieces with a real bohemian vibe to them. I especially like the crochet and eyelet comeback. It’s like a new twist on the hippie/boho style. I like it a lot. I think I’m going to be taking a lot of my Spring fashion cues from VS…
What do you gals think of the New Arrivals? Yay or nay?
