Kirstie Alley Walks the Runway at NYFW
Did anyone hear that Kirstie Alley hit the catwalk at New York Fashion Week? Well you guys, she did. Designer Zang Toi featured her in his show this Tuesday. She wore and elegant and dramatice royal blue, rhinestone-adorned gown at the Malaysian designer’s Spring 2012 show. Kirstie has been friends with the designer for years and was totally honored and excited to be walking.
“Waaaa Hooooo!!! Kitty is ready to walk the Cat!!! False Bravado will guide me…Let’s have some fun @ZANGTOI!!!” the actress tweeted on Tuesday.

We are pretty excited to see as close to a regular woman as we can get on the runway. Kirstie did us proud.
What do you guys think? We thought she did a great job and looked gorgeous! We have to say that this woman does not look 60!
Kirstie Alley was really looking gorgeous in this dress..
You are so right…it’s about time a regular woman was represented at NYFW. However, I have to say that Kirstie Alley is not a “regular woman” in the sense that she’s tall and beautiful and seems to be ageless. But she’s NOT pencil thin like all the other models and in that way does reflect the rest of the female population. Kudos to the designer for not being afraid of the fashion critics and showing the world that “regular women” can be (and deserve to be) fashionable, too.
