  1. Baby wipes! Gotta have baby wipes. Not only do they come in handy cleaning up the kids, but they are also great for spruce ups……sweat, dirty flip flop feet, oily hands after applying sunblock, makeup smears/mishaps, etc. Baby wipes are also great for accidental food spill on your clothing or wiping chairs/tables for outdoor dining/activities. $1 buys a 2 pack pocket size at the dollar store. Soooo worth it! I never leave home without them! :)

  2. Love this post! I agree w/ you about the Dove spray because that one of my main must haves too & I ALWAYS have a bottle in my bag!

    My main must haves:

Bag: a large tote or satchel bag since summer weather means I’m more on the go so I have more to carry

Contents: a book or magazines-for whenever I get stuck somewhere and need to pass the time plus I like keeping my mind sharp

Lip balm & lotion w/ SPF-to protect my lips & skin from the scorching sun

Foaming handsanitizer-alcohol based ones are too flammable & drys my skin out too much for me

Playtex Sport wipes-great for refreshing on hot humid days

A mini reuseable water bottle for staying hydrated in the hot weather plus I like helping Mother Nature by not using plastic ones

A snack size twist & lock food storage container for the snacks I don’t finish and to prevent chocolate snacks from melting everywhere. Trust me a handbag can be as hot as a car LOL!

Sassy Diaper Saks-I keep’em in an old small coin purse & use them as trash bags since my area has hardly public trash cans which are mainly at food establishments plus they are scented and absorb odors

Chocolate & nut granola trail mix & chocolate covered pretzel flips- both have the perfect combination of sweet and salty when I snack on the go.

    And finally

I ALWAYS make it a point to have $3 in quarters. Not only for $1 ice cream runs to the Dollar Tree or the ice cream truck but also for parking meters, vending machines and shopping esp. at stores like Alidi where you have put a quarter in the cart. With the economy tight here, losing a quarter to the cart is like losing an ounce of gold!

Yes, I admit my bag IS my life If I can’t live out of it, its not a bag worth having LOL! :)

  3. I always have my Bible, 2011 Planner, Bag of pens and pencils (which always includes any type of lipbalm!), wallet and itouch!
