You Choose Meghan’s New Do Poll & Giveaway *CLOSED*

So we here at The Fashionable Housewife like to have fun and in having fun, we obviously love to get our awesome readers involved… enter the “You Choose Meghan’s New Do” Poll and Giveaway. We have a volunteer, Miss Meghan, who will be getting a new and exciting haircut based on what you, the readers decide. We will give you Meghan’s before (both front and back) and will offer you 4 choices of her “After”… based on which style gets the most votes, Meghan gets that haircut. She is brave, although I am pretty sure we are all stylish, so she has it pretty good. To make this even more fun? Each time you cast a vote, tweet or share on Facebook, you will be entered into a drawing for some awesome hair goodies… but let’s start with Before and Afters, shall we?

She is lovely already, we know… but she is ready to branch out and try something different. Her hair has been long and straight for quite some time now… but what to choose?

 

With the choice of #1, Meghan will be cutting off quite a bit of length and adding quite a few layers. Side swept bangs and layers to frame her face, this look could be quite the departure from her norm.

#2 also brings a much shorter length but this time brings in some angles that her current do does not have. This haircut is edgy and sharp, something that might be fresh and exciting?

Can we say bangs? Hairstyle #3 will be a nice change with blunt bangs and angles that frame the face. Longer than 1 and 2, this style is sexay and different. Would this suit Meghan best?

With #4 comes long layers and sideswept bangs, playful and light. This versatile style could bring Meghan from straight to sassy with just a few snips?

We will be doing a follow up with Meghan’s before and after shots (so we can all see how glamorous our choice was) and also announce a lucky winner. A lucky winner for what?   1. Number 2! I think she has the perfect face for it, and it’s the style that I like the best. (might even get it myself!)

  4. I really think #2 would look best as well! You kind of look like Gwyneth!

  9. I personally #2 you can always add the layers in #3 if the look is too straight. I don’t like the layers my stylist cut and am growing them out.

  13. #2 it’s really cute and wouldn’t be too drastic of a change to start.

  14. Number one. Its a bigger change, but looks like it would be really flattering.

  15. Number 2…it would be as easy to care for but would be super flattering. Can’t wait to see what she gets done!

  20. #1 or #3. If she doesn’t have a length preference, I’d say #1 would look adorable on her!

  21. #1, it’s a little more daring than the others, IMO. I think she’d look great with more layers and the side-swept bangs!

  31. Style #2 I think would look great as Meghan and Gwyneth have the same shape of face.

  33. I like #1 best, it’s sassy & would still work with straight hair. It would also suit her face shape, while adding texture.

  34. Meghan should go with #2. She would feel more comfortable with it as she is more conservative with her hair in general. Its a fun length but not too risky. And Meghan’s think hair might look more christmas tree-ey with too may layers. Something with long layers, or a blunt cut in pic #2 would look good on her and still keep with her sense of style.

  35. #4, I like all the angles and flips. I think it is very different from her current do and I think she should go for something very different than the straight and soft she has had before, though lovely she is indeed!

  36. I love #3 and I think it would look modern, chic and sexy on Meghan!

  44. I like # 4! I think it will be sassy enough yet youthful for Meghan. Can’t wait to see the end result!!

  46. Well as her sister I vote #2. It’ll be the most flattering for both her face shape AND her hair type (and her age/job). It also wouldn’t be a stretch from her current hair routine. Meghan’s had the #3 bangs before and although she’s gorg, it wasn’t her best look. The styles of #1 and #4 wouldn’t translate on her..because I’m positive her hair isn’t as course and damaged as Cameron and whichever Olsen that is. So that’s my longwinded way of voting for numero dos! Love you sister!!

    I would go with 1 and then you can always go to 4 . The other two are nice, but drastic, and once you commit to them … it will be hard to do anything else. 1 and 4 are more versatile.

  59. #4 for Meghan! It would highlight her beautiful features without completely covering her forehead.
