Dark circles are the bane of my existence, and I’m sure a lot of you can sympathize with me! Luckily, I’ve tested my way through many products that claim to conceal dark under eye circles and found several winners that really do the trick. Here are my favorites; give one a try to banish your dark circles once and for all!
I was very impressed by Almay Bright Eyes Duo Eye Base + Concealer
($8.99.) This concealer also functions as an eyeshadow primer, and helps brighten and illuminate the eyes all while covering up dark circles; reducing puffiness and refreshing the eye area. Love it!
Formulated especially for younger skin, ClickR Skin Care Magic Eye Cream
($36) tackles under eye circles like a pro, with the added benefits of being highly moisturizing and firming. I’d never heard of this skin care line before, but I’m glad I gave the eye cream a try – within two weeks my dark circles were noticeably less defined! It’s pricey, but I’ll pay the price for a product that actually works. Oh, did I mention this product is 100% vegan and not tested on animals? Bonus!
Despite the price of Amazing Cosmetics AmazingConcealer
($28-42), it’s a purchase worth making when you consider how highly pigmented it is – you only need a tiny amount to cover even the most prominent dark circles! This rich concealer goes on smoothly and evenly, and just a dab gives you full coverage for any skin woe you might have. This concealer truly IS amazing!
I’ve tried lots of eye creams over the years, but I was particularly pleased with Nivea Visage Aqua Sensation Eye Creme
($8.24) for it’s moisturizing properties and the fact that it dramatically reduces the appearance of dark circles. No matter how tired you look, this cream will revitalize the eye area and give you the refreshed, wide-awake look you crave. Plus, the instant cooling sensation feels great!
I typically like CoverGirl’s products, and CoverGirl & Olay Eye Concealer
($11.99) was no exception. For a budget concealer, you can’t get much better than this. Not only does this exceptional concealer cover even the most pronounced dark circles, it does so without drying out the delicate eye area. Plus, it helps brighten the eye area overall and lasts pretty much all day.
Whether you suffer from dark circles once in awhile or have very pronounced shadows, these products are some of the best I’ve tried at minimizing and reducing the appearance of even the darkest under eye circles. Have you tried any of these before? If so, let me know what you think!
