Petite Treats Cure Afternoon Slumps
Have you tried the new Starbucks Petites? A selection of sweets and pastries all logging in at under 200 calories, it is the new answer to the afternoon sugar call of the wild. While I love the presentation of the Birthday Cake and Rocky Road Pops, the filling is a bit too sweet and squishy for my tastes. However, the Red Velvet Whoopie Pies and Salted Caramel Squares sent my taste buds to new levels of delight. There are also lemon squares, chocolate peanut butter cupcakes and mini carrot cakes to tantalize you as your afternoon slump begins.
Paired with a latte (or other hi or low test beverage of your choice,) these Starbucks Petites will be sure to power you through whatever the afternoon dishes at you. And given the two-bite size and reasonable calorie count, there’s no need to feel guilty. Unless you’re trying to cut back on sugar and caffeine, but that’s another post altogether!

I don’t have much of a sweet tooth (I know, crazy right?) but every now and then a craving hits for something sweet. These would actually be the PERFECT size for me, because rarely do I want to sit down and eat an entire cupcake or a whole brownie. I love the idea of two-bite treats (the chocolate and peanut butter cupcakes sound yum.)
