Some gals swear by their signature lipstick while others would rather not bother but opt for the gloss. We are here to match up the gloss versus the stick to see which one stands up to the test of our lip wear categories!
Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Firecracker VS Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Kiss Me Coral
Where to Wear It:
Lipstick: Whenever you want to demand respect with your makeup; work, business meetings or a night out on the town where you need a dramatic lip!
Gloss: Gloss is great for casual wear; running errands, family get together and the like. Gloss is also great when you want a fierce eye and want to down play the lips.
Pout Perks:
Lipstick: If you take your time, applying your lipstick with precision, you lips can look more gorgeous but without pronouncing the lip.
Gloss: Gloss is a great way to make your lips look fuller and give you that sexy pout.
Durability:
Lipstick: Sadly, on average,ย regular lipstick only lasts for about 2 hours. Depending on what you eat and drink, this can differ from brand to brand. The new frontier of lipsticks offers us colors that stay on for up to 18 hours but this lipstick is not for everyone.
Gloss: Lip Gloss is definitely not known for its longevity buuuut we can find glosses that last longer than others. We find that the stickier the gloss, the longer it stays.
So who wins?!ย BOTH! Why can’t we use both lipstick and lip gloss? No reason why we can’t swing both ways. There is a time and a place for your favorite lipstick and you can keep that old stand by lip gloss in your purse for a touch of sass at any time of the day. Lipstick and Lip Gloss can live harmoniously together… isn’t life grand?!
