I have had family members and friends who have died from Breast Cancer. Unfortunately, I don’t know anyone who has fought cancer and survived. It’s such a deadly disease and we need to join together to help find a cure!

  378. I am entering the Komen/Dell laptop giveaway for my precious Mother. I’ve browsed the Komen Design Studio, and I know she would choose the “Tapestry of Hope” pattern. My Mother is 75 years old, and is a 6 year survivor of breast cancer. She found the lump in her breast during a self-exam — a lump the mammography did not detect. Due to her immediate action, she not only has survived her cancer (with surgery and only 6 radiation treatments!), but “precancerous colon polyps” last year as well! I am her only daughter, however she has 3 daughters-in-law and 7 grand-daughters, and she frequently quizzes each of us as to whether we’ve done our monthly self-examinations! Self-exams and immediate action are the keys to surviving this horrid disease. My Mother, Norma Davis, is quite active in geneaology research and handles all the affairs of my aunt, who is bed-ridden with MS. A laptop would be a miracle for her, and did I mention her favorite color is pink?! THANK YOU FOR THIS CONTEST!

  380. I like the Inspiron Mini 10 Netbook. It is the perfect size to put in my purse for when I’m on the go. It will let me catch up on some work that wasn’t able to get done at home because of all the responsibilies there with my family – especially my 3 year old. I love the “pink dots” design.   1080. I checked out the Susan B Komen & Dell sites. My favorite is still the one you’re showing with the paisley design. I like the pink & the checkered ones as well but that paisley one is still my fav. Love the accessories they have to benefit Susan B Komen as well as the laptops but hate that we still haven’t found a cure for breast cancer.
