Review Series- Avon Lotus Shield Frizz Control- Part 3

Yesterday I showed you how Avon Lotus Shield de-frizzed my naturally mischievous hair.  I was pleased with the results, which were comparable to those from the higher-priced salon brand products I normally use.  Of course, Lotus Shield promises more than that: specifically three days of manageable hair.

So how did my hair look on Day 2?  Check it out:

I actually thought it looked better than Day 1– softer and prettier with very few flyaways.  This was a big surprise since my high-end straightening lotion can leave my hair looking a bit lifeless on the second day.  I got many compliments on my hair this day, which was especially gratifying since I spent almost no time on it. That’s right– Lotus Shield kept my hair sleek even through the humidity of the shower.  I didn’t need to rinse or reapply the Lotus Shield and didn’t haul out my straightening iron.  I just touched it up with a few hot rollers on the crown of my head and a spritz of volumizing spray.

But Day 3 will be the real test.  I’m on a shampoo-every-other-day regimen, and that works well for me.  The idea of getting three days of manageable hair from one product application seems tough to believe, practically mythical!  Even if Lotus Shield can deliver frizz-free hair for that long, it’s hard to imagine it looking shiny, fresh, and vital.  But given the stellar Day 2 results, I’m willing to keep an open mind.  Stay tuned…
