Fall 2009 Fashion Trends: Menswear

Not, not men’s fashion! We’re talking about men-inspired pieces made for women. This no-frills approach to business chic is perfect for the office. Look for cute oxfords, tailored blazers and structured handbags in luxe materials.

The menswear trend includes tailored suits, oversized double breasted jackets and blazers. The Boyfriend Jacket and Boyfriend Jeans are definitely a big part of this trend too.

Structured vests, houndstooth and tweed fabrics, trousers and tuxedo details. Go all-out boy style or add a few manly touches paired with more feminine pieces like a ruffled blouse or chiffon skirt.
