  1. There are so many things I love about being mom to my 5 beautiful kids…..I love watching my little ones sleep, I love morning hugs and snuggling on the couch watching cartoons. I love watching my kids play together and to listen to my 3 year old boys’ conversations. I love watching my girls becoming best friends.

  2. I love the sweet hugs and kisses after a long day, and just recently, I love the laughs that you get when your two year old says funny things…like thanking God for her “boobies!” Oh goodness!

  3. As a first time mom, I love how every morning when I get my 8 month old son up he smiles. He is always so happy to see me and it warms my heart. He makes my day off to a wonderful start.

  4. There are so many reasons why I love being a mother. I enjoy seeing them grow up, seeing their ‘first’ of everything, nice conversations, the hugs and the I Love You’s

  5. I love that my daughter’s keep me honest; I love having watched them grow into the young women that they are now and I especially love the unsolicited hugs! The best thing in the world for me, is for us all to be together, being able to laugh outrageously at silly memories, being able to cry together and just accepting each other for who we are.

Thanks; that was lovely to think about this Monday morning!

  6. The thing I love about being a mom is seeing my two children (DD 16yo and DS 19 yo) grow up into such amazing young people and knowing I was used by God to bring these two into this world!

  7. The best thing about being a Mom..

I am a single Mom of a wonderful 15 year old lady..I have been a single Mom from the time she was born, worked full time, travel for work 50% of the month..My daughter loves to sleep with me because she says she misses her Momma when I travel..In fact..she had a sleep over this weekend and all the girls slept in my room..She tells her GF’s how much she loves her Mom!! Pretty nice for a 15 year old tennager huh?

  8. As a young mother -I’m 25 and have THREE children- I love the perspective being a mother has given me. I have a new respect for my mother and grandmothers who have seen their children from babies to adults to adult’s with their own children.
I’m excited that I get to share my life so intimately with these three other people. I enjoy the messy, sticky, joyful, Dora lovin’ time of these early years. I look forward to the drama of the teen years. And the sending off to college, coming home engaged, and new grandbaby years -I know are not as far away as I want them to be- make me cry with excitement.
Today will hold something different than yesterday and all my tomorrows will also have new, unexpected joys and pains. Growing old is not as scary to me as it was before I had my children. Now I don’t fear growing old. Today I make memories for tomorrow. I look forward to all the tomorrows I will see because of my children.

  9. my preschooler makes me laugh with some of the things she says. she’s taught me to be more patient and to observe life from her perspective.

  10. I’m a mom to three little girls (all under age four) and they inspire me to live life freely, to not sweat the small stuff (although difficult!) and to try new things. I hope that my interest in new pursuits will inspire them!

  11. I love the unconditional love my children give me and the trust that I do my best to uphold. I am really fulfilled being a mom. We learn from each other and have fun every day. I never imagined how great it would be. Thanks!

  13. What I LOVE about being a mom is the continuious admiration my daughter has for me. She is convinced that I am the best mom in world regardless what I say to her. Like no soda, no hot cheetos and NO More Disney Channel. I love our pillow talks before she goes to bed, the kisses, the cuddles and phone calls to ask me where her baton is. I can’t begin to explain how complete my little one make me feel and I can’t imagine my life without her.

  14. I love seeing them make thoughtful, considerate choices because of something they learned from me. There is nothing like it!

  15. As a Mom who has raised 4 children and have the oldest in college and the youngest just entering the Tween years, I have found that being a Mother is often about tears. We cry when they are born because they are the most beautiful special gift in the world and we would lay down our life for that being that we have just brought into the world. We cry at those milestones like first steps, first words, and first passed drivers test. We cry with them when they cry from boo-boos and boyfriends breaking their heart because nobody can make it better but Mama. We cry when they learn how to jab cruelly at us as teens with words and when we cry, worry, and pray for them to arrive back home safe each night. We cry when they pack the car to leave for college for the first time. Good tears. Sometimes bad tears. But always, always worth the tears for our child. We cry because we ARE Mama and they will ALWAYS be our babies. That is what motherhood is to me.

  16. I love being a Mom because no matter how stressed I get with work and life in general, one sweet smile from one of my girls makes all the stress go away!

  17. I love being a mom because it gives me a reason to get up in the morning. Everyday is something new- whether its a new word, a new skill, its always a suprise. With my twins (2 year old boy & girl) there is never a dull moment at home! I love that they are so curious about everything around them and ask me 48512 questions everyday, i love the random ‘conversations’ we have. I love watching them grow and learn something everyday! they are the light of my life!
    Thanks for the chance=)

  38. As a single mom to a fabulous 14-yr-old girl, I have much to be thankful for! My daughter enriches my life everyday — for she is the reason I was BORN! She saved my life when she was only 9 years old — so she is the reason I am still ALIVE! Without my child I would be nothing — being a mom is my Career (jobs are jobs). I miss her being a baby — but I have much to look forward to as she becomes a lady. She is compassionate, elegant, and a true joy to all who know her. I am the luckiest woman alive to have my special girl!

  39. I have four children and today I watched my second oldest graduate from college, something I never got to do. I have two more to go and I’m looking forward to seeing them walk up and receive their degrees. I’m so proud of all my children and they give me immense joy and hope for the future. Each day they make me laugh and I am glad that I raised such kind, smart, funny and engaging children. When my son received an academic award yesterday, he read part of an essay I wrote a few months back and I could see he was also just as proud of me. I love them all very much.
