Traveling can be a fun time to show off your sense of fashion to the world, but make sure you do it right! We’ve got some travel advice that even the most seasoned jet-setter can use!
Luxury Luggage
If you are looking to travel in style, what better way than with luxury luggage? If you’re on a budget, look for pre-owned designer luggageย like Coach, Hermes, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and more. Buying a carry-on or suitcase that has been gently used once or twice will save you a lot of money and will let you rock your favorite designer through the airport.
Comfortable Shoes
Ballet flats are a must-have for your carry-on. No matter what comfortable shoes you decide to wear to the airport, you still want to have a comfortable pair of ballet flats or TOMS with you just in case! You never know when your sneakers will blow out or the sole will fall off your favorite sandals. The airport is no time to rock those Christianย Louboutinย heels!
Sunscreen
Always bring sunscreen no matter where you’re going because you never know when you’ll have to sit out in the sun. Even if you aren’t going someplace tropical, you need to be prepared just in case your vehicle breaks down, you need to walk a long distance or if you decide to go for a walk or hike. When you can’t hide in the shade, you’ll be glad you remembered your sunscreen! Just make sure you get a travel size container of sunscreen to bring in your carryon and check out the TSA liquids ruleย before you pack!
Pack Monochrome
When packing your suitcase, less is more. Instead of bringing lots of complete outfits, stick to neutral, monochromaticย tones so all your pieces can be mixed and match, allowing you to makeย more unique outfits with less in your suitcase. Blacks, grays, and whites all go well together so you know you can easily mix and match them. If you want to add pops of color or interest, use scarves or statement necklaces.
Make A List
Make a list or take a picture of everything you are putting in your suitcase so you don’t forget anything. This will also help you make sure you don’t overpack or bring unnecessary items with you as well. When it’s time to come home, look back at the pictures to help you make sure you bring everything back home as well!
