So, you’re going to be a fashionable housewife too? First, you’ve got to make it to the wedding day. The waiting and the planning can be hard, but don’t forget to keep yourself in mind, and make sure you’ve got everything you need to make that day elegant. Here are 5 things you’ll need on your wedding day that will make that day impressive, and let everyone know that you know what a great wedding looks like.
The Dress
You’re probably already searching for the perfect dress, but it never hurts reiterate how important it is. You wouldn’t think that it would be hard to choose which arrangement of white fabric is right for you, but every single wedding dress is just so different. As I’ve said before though, don’t believe in “the one.”
Even if you’ve found the perfect dress, you may be thinking it’s perfect for the price and the circumstances, but it’s not what you saw in that dream from when you were a little girl, and that’s okay. Just find the best dress you can, that compliments your body, is in your price range, and matches the decor of the event that you’ve put together.
A Killer Venue
You’ll want to figure out if it’s going to be outdoors, if you want it in a church, and of course size. There are plenty of things to keep in mind to make sure that the venue you want works, but take care of the necessary aspects before you start looking for something that just looks nice. Make sure the venue can accommodate every person coming, and that means accessibility-wise if you have people that need ramps or larger seating.
Once you’ve gotten all the essentials out of the way, the list of places that can accommodate your wedding will be much shorter, which means it’ll be much easier to choose. Of course there’s no “one” perfect venue, just like I said with the dress, but there’s definitely a method to choosing a venue that’s almost perfect.
Impressive Place settings
When it comes time for everyone to eat, don’t forget that you want to stun everyone as soon as they sit down. You’ll want the food tasting good, looking good, and everyone to be at a table that’s fun for them. You also want it to look good.
You’ll want a nice centerpiece, great silverware, and everything in the right order that leads back to you and the night you’re creating for your loved ones. Why not add a little bit more of a personal touch with these killer wedding napkins? You can get them personalized and in a variety of colors so that no one will forget that everything looks so great because of you.
A Photo Booth
If you’re looking great, and so are your bridesmaids, then pictures will be a must. Having a photographer means that you won’t have to sift through Facebook photos later to find the best candids, but you can also just let everyone take photos of themselves in a photo booth!
I’ve given advice before on running your own wedding photo booth, but here I am to say again, that you shouldn’t overlook this idea. There are all sorts of ways you can get creative with this by leaving different props or frames so that everyone can leave their own little memory. People are shy to photos, but if you make it fun, and have the right lighting to make everyone look good, then who wouldn’t want to jump in there and take some photos that you’ll keep forever?
Good Music
Aside from looks though, people want to have fun. Almost every wedding has dancing, so make sure you’ve got a DJ that’s going to play what everyone wants. You’ll want to give him plenty of requests, but you should pick someone that you know is good at what they do, which could mean a friend, or just someone you’ve heard doing their thing before. There’s no way you can avoid bad music when it’s blaring in the hall, so make sure you’ve got someone spinning the tracks that will get everyone on the floor.
If you’ve got good music, then that means you’ve got good fun. If everything else fails, you can just dance the problems away. This is your day, and if there’s one thing that you need the most in your wedding, it’s to have the most fun you can.
