Entertainment on long trips is essential. However, you cannot be sure about your cellular services. Especially on freeways, your mobile signals seem to give out and you are left with no music or videos to keep you entertained on your long drive. Download your Spotify playlists so you can enjoy your favorite tunes while on the road. Before sure to download some audiobooks as well. These are a great way to learn and hype yourself up about an area you are going to. For example, you might be visiting an area that is highly industrialized and has open access to the workings of a factory to tourists. A good idea would be to educate yourself on what is manufactured, how are these manufactured and what machinery goes into production. You might even learn about the best factories around and the industrial robots they use in their process. 

Furthermore, you might also want to download some Netflix shows to entertain yourself before you go to sleep.

Finally, the last most important thing is that you need to pack out the snacks. These snacks would be able to provide you with ample energy to get through your trip when proper meals are not readily available. 

Pack non-perishable food items such as meat/fish jerky and nuts.  Trial mixes are also a very good snack for your trip. You can eat them in your car or if you choose to buy convenient and economical small custom reusable bags you can even take these snacks to your hikes. 

If you decide to bring along perishable foods such as meat and sandwiches, be sure to bring a small cooling bag so that these items are safe from heat and moisture. 

Water bottles and energy drinks are also a great idea. You never know where and when you might find water during your road trip, therefore, you must keep a lot of bottles with you in your car. Energy drinks would get you through the nights of driving or when you are completely exhausted.
