Spring seems to be taking it’s diddly old timing arriving here in the northeast. As soon as the snow is almost melted from one snowstorm, we get another one! We just got another 6+ inches of snow here in New Hampshire last week right after I just started seeing bare ground in my backyard. It feels like spring will never come!
Being 37+ weeks pregnant and super, duper uncomfortable certainly doesn’t help! I want to open the windows, smell spring air, go for walks and it seems like I have to keep waiting to be able to do any of that. Frustrating, for sure. Meanwhile, I will distract myself with these 3 delicious things that at least smell like spring!
Farmhouse Fresh Rainbow Road Body Wash
They say April showers bring May flowers, so Farmhouse Fresh is showering us with 3 new body washes – Fluffy Bunny, Rainbow Road, and Pink Moon! These three delicious scents that will make you feel like Spring even if there is still snow outside.
Each of the three scents are FHF best-selling body creams and hand lotions that they decided to turn into a body wash after lots of fan’s requests. I’m glad they did because these literally smell SO GOOD. Not only that, they lather up nicely, rinse easily, and leave skin feeling soft and clean, not stripped. I’m in love.
My sensitive and very picky pregnant-nose is obsessed with Rainbow Road which smells like Barlett pears and coconut. All 3 body washes contain aloe, Vitamin E, and a blend of delicious extracts that calm sensitive skin like Chamomile, Arnica Montana Flower, and Green Tea. Each bottle of body wash is 95% natural, vegan, paraben-free and sulfate-free. What more could you ask for in a body wash?!

Britney Spears fantasy IN BLOOM
Oops, she did it again and this time we’re really loving it! Britney Spears recently released fantasy IN BLOOM, another amazing fragrance to add to her collection. We love it because it is simple, classy and smells like spring! The beautiful cherry blossom design on the frosted glass bottle will transport you into springtime, regardless of the weather outside. Not only does it looks great on my vanity table, the bottle is both easy and convenient to use.
This perfume is unique in the sense that it’s both vibrant and feminine at the same time, making it perfect for day or night. The floral notes in this fragrance are soft and fresh, while the more fruity notes are somewhat sensual and uplifting even. It’s the perfect testament to Britney’s dynamic personality.
Being a busy mom, I don’t normally bother taking the time to spritz on perfume. I’m more of a mascara, eyeliner and out the door kind of gal. However, this fragrance smells so good and makes me feel feminine and sexy, so I’ve found myself wanting to take the time to make this a part of my daily routine this spring!
LAVANILA The Healthy Deodorant
Vanilla Lemon, Vanilla Grapefruit, Vanilla Lavender – they all smell like spring! Lavanila’s Healthy Deodorant is a great way to get some spring scents into your beauty routine AND get award-winning, aluminum-free protection for your pits that is 100% natural, safe, and effective.
If you’ve never used aluminum-free deodorant, please do not just buy it, swipe it on, wait 48 hours and then declare that it “doesn’t work”. Natural deodorant does not clog your armpit pores with harmful ingredients so you WILL still sweat while wearing it. After several years of experience wearing only aluminum-free deodorants, I can tell you that it does require a slight learning curve and change in habits. I personally apply all natural deodorant morning and evening, regardless of when or how often I shower. I have found that this works best for me. Most all natural deodorants do not work as effectively at completely blocking odor and sweat as those aluminum filled ones, so be prepared to take a quick shower after your workout or jog.
That said, Lavanila’s deodorant is definitely one of my favorite healthy deodorants because they smell great and don’t irritate my skin.
You can grab any of their fresh scents at your local Sephora and online at Sephora.com.
