It’s the last full week before Christmas Day which means it’s time to buckle down and get everything crossed off your to-do list. With all the hustle and bustle of this season, the last thing you need is unexpected disasters or inconveniences. Make sure you are prepared for anything and confident before you head out to the mall to finish all your Christmas gift shopping.
We have 3 must-haves that you shouldn’t leave home without when you go Christmas shopping.
1. Don’t Leave Home Without Them!
Running errands, cooking, baking, exercising, working, cleaning the house, spending time with family and friends and then Christmas present shopping on top of it all? You probably don’t even have time to take a deep breath right now! The last thing you need to worry about are bladder leaks!
With busy stores, rude shoppers, long lines and bumper to bumper traffic, finding a bathroom *in time* might be a challenge this time of year. Thankfully, you can stay active and feel confident with Depend® Silhouette Active Fit Briefs in your arsenal of essentials.
With a new slim and trim fit, Depend® Silhouette Active Fit Briefs have the look and feel of real underwear, don’t show even under yoga pants and give you the freedom to keep living your life without worrying about light bladder leakage. Whether you can’t find a bathroom before it’s too late or you need a little extra protection when you are active, you can depend on Depend® to have your back(side) covered!
I know what you’re thinking, but don’t worry, these are not bulky adult diapers! They are like one step up from a pantyliner or thin maxi pad. If you generally wear pantyliners but have to change it more than once a day, you might want to consider Depend® Silhouette Active Fit Briefs instead. Nobody wants to end up running around in damp skinny jeans while they are at the mall!
Even if you don’t have an issue with bladder leakage, you can wear Depend® Silhouette Active Fit Briefs for period protection as well. I actually have friends who wear these for overnight period protection because they are less bulky than a traditional overnight maxi pad plus they feel more secure wearing them. No more being worried about ruining your favorite undies.

2. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle!Obviously, we tend to accumulate a bunch of plastic bags when shopping so this is the perfect time to bring along all your reusable shopping bags! T.J. Maxx and Marshalls have some adorable reusable shopping bags for around $0.99 each.
Why use reusable shopping bags? Of course the primary reason is that regular plastic shopping bags are rarely recycled and usually end up in someone’s trash can which is a huge waste since they are made from petroleum oil. Did you know that the petroleum that is used to make 14 regular plastic shopping bags can drive a car one mile? Yeah. What a waste, right?! And then of course, when the bags inevitably end up in the dump, they pose an enormous harm to our environment because they can take anywhere from 15 to 1000 years to fully decompose.
Set a good example and bring your reusable shopping bags with you when you go Christmas shopping this season!
3. Pack Light!
Now is not the time to be rocking your fancy Coach bag. Get a small backpack or lightweight handbag when you go shopping. You want to stay as hands-free as possible when shopping, not stopping every few minutes to hike a bag back up onto your shoulder.
I personally love Overland Equipment. They have incredibly lightweight bags and backpacks that are comfortable to wear, have lots of pockets and plenty of compartments to organize your essentials.
