Guess what just rocked my world? Behold.
Three words: FAVORITE. SCRUB. EVER. I received a nice-sized sample a few months ago, but at the time, my skin was still stuck in the post-winter blues. I was craving moisture, not exfoliation, and you can’t reasonably expect both, right?
Ha! The other day, with summer in full swing, my skin needed a little boost. So I broke out that sample of Lather’s Bamboo Lemongrass Foaming Body Scrub and hit the tub. A few suds later, I felt like a new woman. The scent is just what you’d expect– herbal, lemony, and totally refreshing. And the exfoliating bamboo particles are just aggressive enough, easily brushing away dead skin cells without scratching the tender, new skin underneath.
And the piece de resistance? Once I’d toweled off, I couldn’t get over the smooth, supple way my skin felt. True baby softness that even the most intensive lotions can’t deliver on their own. Basically, I’m in love.
I’ve already exhausted my sample and purchased a big tub of my own. Now, I wouldn’t call it inexpensive. The 8 oz container is $38, and the 16 oz is $68. However, it really delivers, and in my opinion it’s more than worth the price. If you’ve been dreaming of that rosy, freshly scrubbed, on-my-way-to-the-Iowa-State-Fair-where-I’ll-surely-have-my-first-kiss-atop-the-ferris-wheel feeling, I highly recommend it.
