Got Dark Circles?

dark circlesderma e Evenly Radiant Dark Circle Eye Crème

What it does for a Momma:

  • Helps diminish the look of dark circles, puffiness, fine lines and wrinkles
  • Formulated with herbal extracts and antioxidants
  • Bearberry and Niacinamide help lighten and prevent discoloration
  • Green tea helps protect skin from age damage
  • Pycnogenol® supports healthy circulation to help reduce puffiness
  • Leaves the entire eye area looking brighter, fresher, rested and radiant

Most eye creams I don’t like using in the morning because once I put foundation or anything on top, it looks like crap and rolls off. Luckily, this one doesn’t do that to me, PLUS it works! What more can you ask for? Okay, it’s at an affordable price point too. And it’s natural. And it smells great. And… well, you get it.

Nails: Duri Cosmetics ‘Dream Catcher’ Lavender Nail Polish Swatch

I polished my nails for #purplenailsforboston – a trend on instagram in the wake of the horrific terrorist attack on the Boston Marathon on Monday.

Duri Cosmetics Dream Catcher purple nail polish

(Accent nail done with ORLY “Peaceful Opposition”)

This is my first time using Duri nail polish and it certainly won’t be my last. I absolutely love the brush, the application was easy, two coats were perfection and it didn’t chip before I got a top coat on! That’s a total win in my book.

Duri Dream Catcher nail polish

The shade I’m wearing is called “Dream Catcher” and it’s very Coachella-style as well as being perfect for spring. It’s one of the new colors from their Spring/Summer 2013 collection and probably my favorite.

I’ve only had it on for a little over 24 hours and no chips so far, so I’m quite pleased. Will update with any negative findings (if there are any!).

Get It: Duri.com and Amazon.com for $6.00

5 Spring Nail Colors To Flip For

Forget the dark, vampy colors of fall – this spring, it’s all about brightening things up. Treat your tips and toes to one of these five spring nail colors – or all of them – and get ready to “spring” into a sunnier state of mind.

1. HOT Coral

Coral looks lovely on all skin tones, and is the perfect bright to wear this spring. Plus, nail color is a great way to wear look-at-me colors without feeling overwhelmed. A few to try:

2. Lilac

As far as pastels go, lilac is the clear winner this spring. Keep your hands well moisturized when wearing this shade, though – lilac tones can make skin look ashy. A few to try:

  • Essie Nail Color in St. Lucia Lilac, $3.99, Amazon
  • butter London Nail Lacquer in Muggins, $14, Macy’s (pictured)
  • Zoya Nail Polish in Malia, $6, ShampooLine.com

3. Beige

Neutrals never go out of style, and that’s more true this season than ever before. If you’re tired of pastels but too timid for brights, a beige polish is the perfect compromise – and it looks very chic, to boot. Our favorites:

  • Sally Hansen Nailgrowth Miracle Nail Color in Bold Buff, $5.50, Drugstore.com
  • Orly Nail Polish in Nite Owl, $8, thebeautyclutch.com
  • Sonia Kashuk Nail Colour in Sugar Rush, $4.79, Target (pictured)

4. Turquoise

Shades of turquoise nail color were seen all over spring runways, and it’s a modern and very fashion-forward color to choose. Whether worn on fingers or toes, this bold bright will liven up any outfit. Three to try:

  • Essie Nail Color in Turquoise and Caicos, $8, Drugstores
  • Sinful Colors Nail Enamel in Rise and Shine, $2.50, Cherryculture.com (pictured)
  • Julep Nail Lacquer in Amy, $14, Julep.com

5. Fuchsia

Forget barbie pinks – this season, fuchsia is the go-to girly shade with a fierce edge. Whether you choose a bold, look-at-me shade or one with a hint of shimmer or glitter, you’ll be right on trend all season long. Our picks:

  • Love & Beauty Nail Polish in Fuchsia, $2.80, Forever21 (pictured)
  • China Glaze in Fuchsia Fanatic, $7, Ulta
  • Deborah Lippman in Between The Sheets, $16, Neiman Marcus

Orly Sweet Collection of Pastel Nail Lacquer Polish

I know it’s a little late in the season to be posting about Spring nail polish colors, but I think these colors are great for Summer too!

    Gumdrop: pastel turquoise crème
    Cotton Candy: baby pink crème
    Lollipop: pastel purple crème
    Pixy Stix: salmon crème
    Snowcone: baby blue crème
    Lemonade: pastel yellow crème

It’s Orly’s “Sweet Collection” for Spring 2010. delicious collection of vibrant, candy-inspired pastels. Cool off with the refreshing yellow of Lemonade and the chilly blue of Snowcone. Satisfy your sweet tooth and your spring wardrobe with the cool aqua of Gumdrop or the lavender Lollipop. The Sweet lacquers come with a FREE matching mini lip gloss on every bottle!!

I received a couple colors from the collection to review, but my 2 year old hasn’t let me be alone long enough to even get one coat of this polish on! I started to polish my left hand with Gumdrop I got ONE NAIL DONE before getting interrupted! I never got back to finish the other nails and I ended up running around with only my left thumb nail polished for well over a week. My husband kept telling me people were going to think I was starting a new trend! lol

The color itself was really pretty and I wish I had had a chance to polish the rest of my nails, but here I am writing about it instead of giving myself a manicure. Aaaah priorities…

This collection is light and fun and perfect for Spring and Summer. I’m absolutely loving it and think you will too. My favorite color so far is Lollipop and Gumdrop.

If you love the collection, consider getting the mini kit featuring Lollipop, Lemonade and Gumdrop!

Orly the Sweet Mani Mini Kit – $10.00

If I manage to get an entire hand polished, I promise I’ll take a pic and post it! If you’ve tried any of these polishes, please let me know!
