Today’s Outfit: Sparrow Bird Print Top

My latest obsession? Wallis. Super cute stuff, great prices, on-trend selection, free shipping on all orders over $30. What more could you possibly ask for?

Wallis is like a cross between Forever 21 and Nordstrom. Cute styles and unique pieces like Forever 21, yet everything is “grown up” and cut for real women (not teenagers). I’m just in love…

After visiting the site for the first time, I fell in love with this grey bird print shirt. Perfect for a casual day. The collarless style is cut from the softest jersey and features 3/4 length sleeves. On sale right now for just $44.

Today’s Outfit: TJ Maxx Score Outfit #1

Last week, I scored big time at TJ Maxx! What would have cost me over $1,500 in a department store cost me around $200 in T.J.Maxx! Oh yeah, I’m a Maxxinista baby…

I bought mostly wardrobe staples and accessories that would bring my summer wardrobe into Fall without too much effort (or cost). One of my favorite items I purchased was a cropped faux leather jacket that was on sale for just $20! I an IN LOVE with this jacket!

My other favorite score were these rust colored ponte knit jeggings that were only $14.99!!! I can wear them with so many different things through the entire Fall season AND probably into winter too!

Here are 2 different outfit examples of items I purchased at TJ Maxx that feature the black jacket and the rust colored skinnies…

Both of those gorgeous blouses I bought at TJ’s too – one for $12.99 and one for $14.99. And those absolutely adorable animal print studded ballet flats practically jumped into my shopping cart all by themselves… Seriously. They knew they had to come home with me. And at only $16.99, I wasn’t going to protest.

It got cold, fast, here in New England so I wasn’t about to wear a thin blouse today. So I’m wearing a black long sleeve shirt under a gray sweater (two things that were already in my wardrobe) and I’m wearing them with that black leather jacket, the rust colored jeggings and those studded ballet flats. Super cute and super comfy!

We want YOU to score big at TJ Maxx too! Enter our TJ Maxx giveaway for a chance to win a $100 gift card for TJ Maxx! TWO WINNERS will be chosen!! Enter for chance to win today!

Trend Alert: Boat Shoes & Nautical for Fall

Just because it’s Fall, doesn’t mean you have to put away those Boat Shoes! The nautical trend is still going strong and you can warm up this look by putting on the layers.

Here is a cold weather Nautical outfit idea featuring Lee Gold Label Piper Jeggings, just one of many fabulous styles in their Fall 2012 line.

Nautical for Fall

Are you on board with the whole boat shoes trend? I see them on everyone, almost everywhere I go! My teenage nieces are wearing them, my husband has a pair, I see them in the grocery store and at the bank, at the park and at the mall. Just about everywhere you wouldn’t expect to see BOAT shoes….

Try Flared Jeggings for a Jegging Twist

Do you love flared jeans?  Do you live in your jeggings?  How about combining the best of both for the ultimate jean experience.  Flared jeans are back, and jeggings are here to stay.  I recently bought a pair of flared jeggings and I LOVE them!  They have the suppleness and comfort of jeggings, as well as the no-fuss, no-fly, no button detailing, with the stylish edge of flared jeans that give you the feeling of more coverage and really more pairing options.  Flared jeggings work just as well with a shorter sweater or top as they do with a tunic or long sweater.  There’s just something “over exposed” about not covering your backside if you are wearing plain jeggings.

Express.com has a nice selection of Flared Jeggings starting at $59.90, and Shopstyle.com also has some great cuts and washes.

So if you’re not comfortable with super tight jeggings that really hug your leg, try the flared style for more comfort, or just a different look.

Fall 2010 Fashion Trends: Jeggings, Leggings and Denim Stretchy Pants

I wasn’t a fan of skinny jeans at first, but came to love them and embrace the style as I found ways to make it work on my body.

The denim skinny jeans have evolved into a type of legging that are now called “Jeggings” and can be found in most stores for less than $50! They are a super soft and stretchy version of skinny jeans that can be worn like jeans or like leggings, giving you more versatility.

(When I’m not pregnant!) I like wearing mine with tunics, blouses, long sweaters and blousey tops. I found a fabulous pair of Super Stretch Slim Leg Maternity Jeans that I wore a lot during the first and second trimester of my pregnancy.

I can’t wait till I can get back into all my non-maternity pants, including my favorite jeggings!

If you don’t have a pair, you really should try them. Don’t be afraid!! You don’t have to worry about showing off your thighs… just pair them with a top the hits mid thigh and wear a belt at the waist to accentuate the hourglass illusion.

Denim Leggings / Jeggings for Under $50!

Will you try jeggings or denim leggings? What will you wear them with?
