I found the coolest, most unique leggings on the planet and I think you are going to LOVE them!

Pins by Lydra is a new fashion label based in Melbourne, Australia that collaborates with artists, photographers, painters and graphic designers to put their artwork onto leggings. The leggings are all made locally in Melbourne by a team of lovely ladies known as the Lydra ladies.

I’m wearing Miss Valencia in a size medium – a little loose on me now that I’ve lost weight. I would say they run true to size but please consult the size chart before making a purchase.

Being serious art and music fan, the brand also allows collaborating artists and musicians to keep a part of profit from every pair of leggings sold.

Trend Alert: Wedge Sneakers

Wedge Sneakers

Sneakers are a great everyday shoe. They’re comfortable and super functional for a day of running errands. But unfortunately, practicality comes with a price. Sneakers might make you feel good, but they don’t exactly help you look good. When’s the last time you looked at a woman and thought, “Wow, those sneakers really accentuate her killer legs?” Luckily, you no longer have to sacrifice style for comfort. The two now coexist in the incredibly fashion-forward wedge sneaker. A wedge sneaker combines all the benefits of your favorite athletic shoe with the edgy style and sex appeal of a killer high heel. These truly are some pumped up kicks. Check out some sizzling examples of this smoking hot trend below:

Ash Genial Wedge Sneaker

At first glance, this shoe bears a resemblance to the iconic Converse Chuck Taylor All Star. The All Star has long been the shoe of choice for many subcultures, and has long been sported by members of the punk, grunge, and alternative music scenes. The Ash Genial Wedge Sneaker in black leather gives a modern twist to a classic look by amping up the rock and roll cred even further. Silver-tone hardware contrasts against sleek black leather and distressed soles for an edgy look. Pair these urban-chic shoes with a tailored black dress and chunky silver jewelry to play up their dangerous vibe even farther.

Ash Thelma Wedge Sneaker

A wedge sandal is a great summertime shoe because it makes your legs look as long and lean as a stiletto heel without being nearly as delicate or fussy. The chunkiness of a classic wedge makes your legs look even slimmer by contrast. The Ash Thelma Wedge Sneaker in camel leatherplays up that dichotomy further with its rugged leather upper and three-inch height. The rich tan color contrasts gorgeously with lighter colors. Pair this with a flirty floral dress and an oversized leather handbag for a vintage western feel.

Jeffrey Campbell Edea Wedge Sneaker

Fashion is all about pushing the envelope, and this fiercely innovative shoe is bound to take you clear into the next zip code. The Jeffrey Campbell Edea Wedge Sneaker in black leather is more than just a little bit rock and roll. Even despite the surprisingly sexy silver spikes, this has the shape of a traditional sneaker. Don’t be fooled though; its secret 3-inch wedge will have your legs looking as chic and sexy as the shoe itself. Pair this with a sexy lace minidress for additional edge factor.

If you’re looking to expand your fashion boundaries, be sure to jump on the wedge sneaker trend. You can go outside your comfort zone without sacrificing any actual comfort. If you are fearless about going outside of the fashion box, then this hot trend is perfect for you to try.

Jeffrey Campbell BURBS CHAIN: Pictures & Review

In a moment of weakness, I fell into temptation… and bought the Jeffrey Campbell BURBS CHAIN.

I don’t know what I was thinking of other than, omg I have to have those shoes…

Maybe not my most frugal purchase, but I have to say it was one of my favorites! After receiving these in the mail only 5 days after ordering them on, all my thoughts of “What were you thinking of?!” quickly melted away at the sight of these to-die-for shoes.

And you know what the best part is? These are even more comfortable than the Jeffrey Campbell MEL.

And while the Jeffrey Campbell BURBS CHAIN aren’t reminiscent of the fabulous Balmain Sandals that everyone’s talking about, they still have the same rocker-chic vibe to them.

I can see myself wearing these with skinny jeans, pencil skirts, my little black dress, even shorts and a fancy top accessorized by lots of jewelry. I mean, you certainly can’t wear these grocery shopping or anything, but when I have to go anyplace where I need to look presentable, I will be wearing these shoes!

I think I will definitely get more of the these than the Mels because they fit me a lot better and the straps have elastic in them, making them a bit easier to walk in. Same fully cushioned footbed and same heel height, but the Burbs have an adjustable buckle on the outside so you can really get more of a custom fit with these.

I’m glad I bought these when I did, because they are sold out in my size now! If you want a pair of these lovely shoes, get over to and buy them quick.

I can’t tell you these shoes are a must-have or anything because they cost so much and they are also pretty extravagant, but if you like the look of these and think you’ll wear them, go for it!

Balmain Inspired Shoes: Review And Photos of Jeffrey Campbell MELS

Okay so I got my Jeffrey Campbell Mel from last week, but wanted to wait to post about them till I got a pictures of these lovely babies on my feet!!
They are every bit as delightful as I hoped they would be. I mean, seriously, just look at these shoes….

I twittered about how I would take pics and let everyone know if these high heels were actually comfortable, and to my surprise, a lot of you were dying to know! Well, you’ll all be happy to hear that they are indeed comfortable. I mean, they’re certainly not FitFlops or anything, but for high heels (33/4” heels to be exact) they are surprisingly comfortable. The 1″ platform makes them easy to walk in and the footbed is actually cushioned (unlike the Steve Madden replicas).

Click To EnlargeIf you have thick or muscular ankles like me, the crystal studded ankle straps may be a bit snug on you. I don’t have much for a heel and my ankles are pretty big from years of professional ballet dancing and wearing pointe shoes, so I found these shoes weren’t exactly made for my feet.

They aren’t unwearable or uncomfortable though. You can just tell from looking at the pic on the left (click to enlarge) that they would look better if I had slimmer ankles and a bigger heel. My feet are not normal though, so I think these shoes would work for most women.

My husband lovingly volunteered to take photos of me wearing the crystal and studded shoes so you could see them with an actual outfit…

I tried to go for a 50′s Glam type outfit. How did I do? Keep in mind that I’m only 5’3″!! I know these shoes would look even better on a girl with long legs. I do like the added height they give me though. I don’t feel short and fat when I’m wearing them. hehe

In short, I think these shoes are pretty freaking fabulous. I am definitely glad I purchased them before they were sold out and I know I will absolutely wear them more than once.

jeffrey-campbell-shoes-mel-black-leather-010604You need to get a pair of Jeffrey Campbell Mel’s for yourself before they are all sold out.

Solestruck’s website says that this is their absolute last shipment of the Mel’s and you need to get them quick! Last I checked, they only had size 7, 7.5 and 8 left. They will set you back $164.95 but they are sooooo worth it!!

Have big feet? Get them on because they have sizes 9, 9.5 and 10 still in stock! However, they cost $195.00 on!

If you’ve seen them some place else, leave a comment and let me know!
