Review For Clairol Natural Instincts Hair Coloring

momNatural Instincts: an ammonia-free, non-permanent hair color that covers gray, adds shine, and enhances existing color and for up to 28 shampoos as it fades gradually. Semi-permanent color will not take you lighter, it can only darken or enhance your existing color, and will change the gray hairs.

I have been using this product for my “graying” problem for years. I have thin medium brown hair that tends to frizz. I use Pecan Medium Golden Brownicon which gives my gray a golden highlighted effect with the rest of my hair color. I apply half of it on slightly damp hair at my roots and especially the gray, for 5 minutes, I then apply the rest working it through the rest of my hair and leave it on for 5 minutes, and rinse it out. It turns into a luxurious shampoo. I then apply the Color Treat conditioning treatment that is provided, rinse it out. It covers my grays! My hair is silkier and shinier, reduces the frizz, and gives my thin hair so much body, fullness, and bounce. It actually improves the healthy look of your hair!

iconiconThe reason I chose Clairol Natural Instinctsicon were the claims that it contained no ammonia, low peroxide, with antioxidants and vitamins C & E, included an aloe weekly deep conditioner, and some of the hair color ingredients were aloe, chamomile, and ginseng. Like most hair colors, you will want to choose a color lighter than you want. I found the brown shades too dark for me. I also have such fine, thin hair that I have found I can use just half the coloring that is supplied and get 2 applications out of one box. The conditioning rinse, I can get a lot of applications out the one tube and use just a little of it after my regular shampoos. This makes it very practical and budget friendly. I love this hair color!

Hair Tip Of The Day: Get the right haircut!

If losing weight isn’t on your agenda but you want to look thinner, you can actually appear slimmer, just by getting the right haircut!

“The most important factor in cutting and styling hair to appear thinner is to avoid roundness,” says celebrity hair stylist Marco Pelusi of Marco Pelusi Hair Studio in West Hollywood, Calif. Steer clear of bobs and short haircuts, which accentuate roundness. Instead, create slimming angles with deep side parts, texturized ends and layered cuts like these. Your cut should softly frame your face and neck and fall between your chin and shoulder with layers starting just under your cheekbones.
