Affordable Little Girl’s Spring Dresses Now at Lands’ End

I am a huge fan of Lands’ End, not just for women’s clothes, but their children’s clothes as well. Everything I have ever purchased for my children from Lands’ End has been durable, high quality, great fit and overall just super cute. Their Girls Dresses this year definitely do not disappoint! The prints, colors and styles are fashion-forward, on trend and totally adorable.

My daughter chose the Short Sleeve Woven Twirl Dress in Surf Green Print.

Lands' End Girls Dresses

Pretty perfect in light-as-air cotton (hello, fuss free!) with an easy elastic waist and circle-cut skirt for extra flounce. Featuring so many thoughtful details — like cute cap sleeves and a sweet self-belt — this darling dress is a favorite for school and special occasions. Hits at knee. Machine wash. Imported.

Buy It: landsend.com for $34 (5 different prints/colors available.)

Machine washable? THANK YOU! Nothing worse than getting a cute dress for your 5 year old and having them get food etc all over it in the first 5 minutes they are wearing it (because if it’s NEW, that’s pretty much a guarantee thanks to Murphy’s Law.) and then realizing that it’s dry clean or hand wash only… *sigh* If you have kids, you KNOW what I’m talking about! Thank the universe, we didn’t have any such mishaps on this particular dress when my little princessa wore it on Easter!

Lands' End Girls Dress

It was FREEZING on Easter so she had to wear a long sleeve shirt under it to stay warm. We can’t wait till the weather is better so she can really rock this adorable dress! (Check out all her Easter painting on the fridge behind her!)

Easter Egg Hunt

We still had a lot of snow in our yard on Easter, so unfortunately snow boots were a must for the Easter Egg Hunt outside!

She feels like a princess in this dress and that’s the most important thing. I will definitely keep going back to Lands’ End for more children’s clothes after yet another positive experience. :-)

Lands’ End provided me with the dress for this review/post.
My thoughts and opinions are my own, regardless of monetary compensation.
My opinion is that Lands’ End is pretty awesome.

Easter Nails: Jamberry Basket Weave Nail Shields

If you have a great set of finger nails and would love to show off some cool easter-themed nail art, then you might want to give Jamberry Nails a shot.

I got the Basket Weave Nail Shields to review for Easter and I think they look super cute…

I polished my ring fingers with 2 coats of Essie Turquoise and Caicos.

Then I did one coat of Nicole by OPI Gold Texture Polish which I didn’t realize was crackle nail polish until it DRIED and I was left with a surprise! I thought about redoing those nails because I actually wanted them to have gold glitter but my almost-6-year-old daughter told me they looked awesome like this, so I left it.

I’m going to tell you more about my adventures with Jamberry Nail Shields later. For now, just enjoy this cute manicure and share pics of your own manicure on our facebook page here!

What To Wear With Holiday Nail Art

I wanted to do my nails ALL WEEK, but life got in the way…

When I saw that Jamberry had Valentine’s Day Nail Wraps, I was pretty excited. Unfortunately, I didn’t get them on my nails before the big holiday hit. I kinda want to wear them anyway though… The hearts are so cute!

Do you think I would look silly with Valentine’s Day hearts on my nails the week after the holiday has ended? Their Valentine’s Day nail art stickers are sooo cute! Check out this one…

Jamberry has some really cute Easter Nail Shields too that I can’t wait to try. Maybe I will actually get them on my nails before Easter arrives!

The only problem I ever face when I have nail art of any kind on my nails is that I feel the need to match my outfit to my nails. I’m afraid that a print on my nails will clash with my outfit and ruin whatever “look” I’m trying to creative.

Do you have that problem too? Or do you just ignore your nails and dress however you want?
