Comfortable Shoes Review | J-41 Temptation Booties

I’m absolutely in love with my new J-41 “Temptation” booties compliments of J-41.

This is my first experience with the brand and I have to say that I am really, really impressed.

First off, the shoes are really well made, comfortable and light-weight. I find them to be very easy to stand in, stable and had no problems after wearing them for several hours the very first time. They have a 31/2” heel but it does NOT feel that tall when you are wearing them. Perhaps it’s the platform in the front that makes them so comfortable and easy to wear.

They are also very, very fashionable! Cute fold-down cuffs with cute cutouts and the lovely ruching in the front. I happen to adore the warm chestnut color, but they also come in a dark chocolaty brown and black.

J-41 Women's 'Temptation' Ankle Boots

Leggings and super hot this season, especially ankle length legging with side zippers. These ankle booties look excellent with leggings as well as with tights.

You can get them on Zappos.com in brown, black or chestnut for $149.00.

Be sure to check out Overstock.com for the J-41 ‘Temptation’ Ankle Boots because they have a few limited sizes and colors available for only $54.99

Winter Outfit Idea for Warmer Climates

It’s not warm here in the NorthEast anymore. In fact we’ve had snow several times this month already and I so disappointed that I only got to wear my lovely Fall clothes for like 2 months… All you lucky gals in California, Florida and other warm places though, get to keep rocking your Fall wardrobe for a few months. I envy you!

For you ladies in warmer climates, here is a fabulous Fall / Winter outfit to consider…

Edun at ShopStyle

I have a similar dress as the one shown above, which is why I picked it for this outfit. I actually have the Edun “Ainsley” White Print Dress that I got on Rue La La for only $35. You can get the Edun ‘Ainsley’ Organic Cotton Blend T-Shirt Tunic Dress shown above on Nordstrom.com for $170. It’s a fabulous basic that is versatile and will last you many seasons as it’s appropriate for Spring, Fall and Winter.

You can wear it in Fall and Winter with some cute tights like these Hue Paisley-Print Tights or for colder days, these extra soft Frenchi Ribbed Tights.

Booties are super popular this season as well, and my favorite right now are the J-41 “Temptation” booties in Chestnut

Shoe Trends for Fall 2009 / Winter 2010

Shoe fashion trends for Fall 2009-Winter 2010 are a little bit different than last year. Biker boots won’t be quite as popular and Artistic wedges and heels won’t be seen on the streets as much. This season I’m seeing a lot more wearable styles and these shoe trends seem a lot more practical and easy to wear than last Fall/Winter 2008/2009 shoe trends.

The main trend for shoes this Fall 2009-Winter 2010 are definitely Booties and Over-The-Knee Boots. I’m also loving that purple is going to be popular again this Fall.

Shoe Trends For Fall 2009:

In this economy, designers aren’t being quite as extravagant as you would normally expect. Luckily this translates into simple and easy-to-wear styles. Practical shoes will be tres chic for Fall 2009.

What are your favorite Fall shoes trends? What will you be adding to your shoe shopping list this season?

Fall 2009 Shoe Trends: Booties – Cutout & Peep-Toes

Booties are another popular shoe trend we’ll be seeing a lot of. Just visit sites like Piperlime and zappos.com and you’ll see a large variety of cute little booties. Anything from leather, suede, patent leather, fur and more. Wedge heels, stiletto heels, flats, and platforms. You’ll also find an abundance of styles that incorporate the other trends like studs, ruffles, buckles, fringe and more.

BCBGirls Women's 'Cidro' Peep-toe BootiesTwo additional styles you’ll see on booties, that you won’t find anywhere else is cutout booties and peep-toe booties.

I’m sure your mother has told you that chopping off your legs at the ankle is unflattering, but please ignore her advice. Booties really became a big trend last year, and they promise to stick around for another season. The bootie has really become a bit of a Fall wardrobe staple at this point.

Women's shoes/bags: Hive and Honey Truffle - TaupeBooties can work for almost anyone. Be careful if you are very short or have stocky legs. Everyone else should definitely get a pair of booties this Fall. You can wear them with skirts, dresses, and even shorts with tights – a look that is very popular this season. Booties really rough up an ensemble like no other shoe can and they give your outfit the edge it needs. They are perfect to pair with leather leggings as well.

When choosing a new pair of booties, aim for something dramatic and unique. Pairing them with any neutral or basic outfit will completely transform your look into something special. This is one trend you must try, and with so many affordable booties this year, you can’t afford not to.

There are so many cute booties available right now. Some cheap, some expensive, but all very chic. I had trouble only picking out a few pairs to show you, but here are some of my favorites…
