“The Good Wife” – A New Drama Starring Julianna Margulies and Chris Noth premieres

So, I just learned that CBS has a new drama series called The Good Wife, starring Julianna Margulies and Chris Noth. (You know, Mr Big from Sex And The City??!!)

Margulies plays a wife and mother who must assume full responsibility for her family and re-enters the workforce after her husband’s very public sex scandal and political corruption lands him in jail. It should be an interesting show and sounds like a perfect roll for Mr Big, eh? lol Always up to no good…

Watch Alicia (Margulies) as she transforms herself from embarrassed politician’s scorned wife to resilient career woman, especially for the sake of providing a stable home for her children. For the first time in years, Alicia trades in her identity as the “good wife” and takes charge of her own destiny. I’m hoping there are some good principals in this new show as well as the entertaining drama we all crave everyone once in a while.

Lindsay Lohan went to the Optometry store in Sherman Oaks, CA May 19, 2009 and couldn’t get away from the cameras fast enough as she made her exit out the back door. She was wearing this blue floral print jumpsuit. It looks cute on her, but I don’t think you can wear jumpsuits in real life… What do you ladies think?

Monday Morning Poll

Last week was so much fun, lets do it again!

1. Location: Naples FL at a 5 star resort! My first vacation in almost 5 years. Waaaay overdue!

2. Mood: Finally relaxed and just enjoying being in my favorite place in the whole world.

3. Wearing: Sundress with wedges and a wide brimmed sun hat.

4. Hair: Using new Enjoy products this week. Loving them so far! Will give you the full review next week…

5. Makeup: Covergirl TRUblend Makeup and DuWop Limited-edition Pink Shimmer Brick dusted all over. Covergirl LashBlast Mascara and CARGO High Pigment Pencil on my eyes and theBalm KISS MS GOODBYE Limited Edition Lip Gloss on my lips.

6: Biggest Complaint: Acne! After I got pregnant, no acne for almost 2 years. Now that I’m having cycles again, total acne breakout. Driving me CRAZY! I’m too old for acne…

7. Wanting: Blowfish “Willis” leather booties in Natual Antique Leather

8. Hating: I do not like seeing obese women trying to rock skinny jeans. Seriously… I’m not trying to be mean gals, but they’re called SKINNY jeans for a reason. I’m not the only one thinking this… I’m just one of the only ones who’s sayin’ it!

9. Movies: I want to see Fireproof, but it’s not in any theaters near me! Has anyone else seen it yet?

10. Agenda: relaxing, going to the pool, maybe dinner out tonight, and I hope to take a bubble bath tonight! Whoo hoo!

Need Entertainment? See “The Duchess” Starring Keira Knightley!

If you like Keira Knightley, a great historical drama, or high fashion with a splash of intrigue then this is the movie for you. The Duchess, starring Keira Knightley and Ralph Fiennes, is in theaters everywhere Friday, October 10.

Long before the concept existed, the Duchess of Devonshire, Georgiana Spencer (Keira Knightley), was the original “It Girl”. Like her direct ancestor Princess Diana, she was ravishing, glamorous and adored by an entire country.

Determined to be a player in the wider affairs of the world, she proved that she could out-gamble, out-drink and outwit most of the aristocratic men who surrounded her. She helped usher in sweeping changes to England as a leader of the forward-thinking Whig Party. But even as her power and popularity grew, she was haunted by the fact that the only man in England she seemingly could not seduce was her very own husband, the Duke (Ralph Fiennes).

And when she tried to find her own way to be true to her heart and loyal to her duty, the resulting controversies and convoluted liaisons would leave all of London talking.
