Spa Sonic where have you been all my life! The Spa Sonic Face & Body Polisher is a 7 piece professional kit. Each kit comes with the main device which runs on 4 AA batteries, 2 small brushes, 1 large brush, a facial sponge, and a pumice. The Spa Sonic has you covered face to toes!

The small brushes are to be used for your face, they are very soft. No more scrubbing with those pads in the cans. Use your favorite cleaning product to the brush or your face, it is very gentle on your face. The large brush is for your body, apply your soap and use this in a circular motion. I’ve never used a facial sponge before, they are meant to improve the elasticity of your face. I put on my facial lotion and what a difference when I used the facial sponge! With summer right around the corner, I couldn’t wait to use the pumice on my feet. They’ve been needing TLC for some time now. My heals are soft and callus are gone.

One of my questions was can I use this in the shower, and yes I can! The brushes are easy to change and clean.

Whish body products offered us the opportunity to highlight some of their pretty great products, here on The Fashionable Housewife. We obviously jumped at the chance because as women, we are always looking for the next great beauty product and you won’t find it unless you try all sorts of different stuff. Whish offers a great line of products from body scrubs and lotions all the way to luxury shave products (because we all need those!).

Whish Sugar Scrub, $38.00 EXFOLIATES- Bamboo Powder– an exfoliant that is loaded with minerals and natural silica to moisturize. Raspberry Seed – loaded with anti-oxidants that are a great natural exfoliator. Brown Sugar & Organic Sugar Cane – When brown sugar and organic sugar cane are combined with the bamboo powder and raspberry seed that result in an all natural, effective and moisturizing exfoliant. MOISTURIZES- Organic Shea Butter, Organic Aloe, Organic Raspberry Butter easily absorb into the skin to provide triple the moisture. RENEWS- Vitamin E and organic avocado oil combine to leave the skin young and bright with a daily dose of anti-oxidants.

OUR VERDICT?- Sweet smelling and does a great job of scrubbing off that excess skin for a smooth as a baby’s bottom feel. Also, this product does not leave granules at the bottom of the tub as with some of my other body scrubs.

Three Whishes Body Butter, $24.00 MOISTURIZES- Organic Aloe– a soothing, natural anti-septic with anti-bacterial properties, anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties. Organic Shea Butter – has a high content of non-saponifiable fats that are the best natural skin moisturizers and are also high in anti-oxidants. Organic Raspberry Butter – high in anti-oxidants, this attacks free radicals making it a magical moisturizer. FIRMS- Organic Seaweed Extract– loaded with firming peptides and anti-oxidants. PURIFIES- Organic Rice Bran Oil – very high in tocotrienols; a super anti-oxidant that can be 30 times more powerful than vitamin E and early studies have shown prevents skin cancer and improves sun screen efficiency.

OUR VERDICT?- Mmmmm, also sweet smelling! While I didn’t notice any huge differences between this “body butter” or other lotions, I definitely love something that has a great smell like this. It also did it’s job as far as moisturizing, so I will give it my thumbs up.

Likewise Skincare Review

We are always up for trying new skin care products, you guys know that. Likewise Skincare was awesome enough to let us try some of their products to let you guys know what we thought of them. We received the Likewise facial moisturizer and the Likewise Face and body wash for review. While I had never heard of Likewise skincare products before, I have learned to never knock something until you have tried it. You will miss some pretty great things thinking like that.

Like I mentioned before, I had the opportunity to try both the Likewise facial moisturizer as well as the Likewise face and body wash. I would have to say that the face and body wash was my favorite of the two. It had a fresh scent, not as citrus-y as I had hoped but still lovely. If applicable, I like to let the man try stuff with me, so that if it’s something we can both take advantage of, it’s most definitely a plus. I like that I can keep this in the shower and that both the man and I can use this. He would rather something he can use on his body and face rather than have to use separate products so that was his opinion on this subject haha. I have more thoughtful approach to this product. It’s refreshing, non abrasive and a great addition to our shower regimen.

I would be interested to see what Likewise skincare comes up with next as I found their products appealing and the face and body wash especially satisfactory. I would need more of a selection from them in the future to see myself really committing to them as a brand for all of my skincare needs.
