Trendy Denim Styles for Spring 2013

Now that spring is here, it’s time to pack up those well-worn boots and fading tights. As much as we love them, it’s time for a break. We know it’s not shorts and tank top warm yet, so in this interim weather, we’re making sure that there are still trendy clothes for women and options galore. We definitely recommend a few of these stylish trendy jeans for women to get you through the next few months. We promise that by the time summer comes, you’ll be begging for cooler weather just to keep these on!

Take a look:

sky-high-jeans

The sky high jeans are great high-waisted jeans for long legs. These jeans accentuate a little waist and elongate beautiful legs. The high-waisted button-up jeans style adds a unique twist to this already fun trend. Pair these with heels and a flowy top and you’ll be sure to turn heads.

three-button-skinnies

Other trendy jeans for women are the three button skinnies with a somewhat high waists and loops for a unique belt addition. These would go perfectly with a crop top for a warmer night out on the town. This classic style is easy to work with, completely flattering, and always comfortable.

zip-front-jeans

The zip front jeans are great for an edgier look. A great pair of high-waisted jeans in black, these have one single zipper at the front for closure. The slight wash adds a funky faded color, and the elastic band creates optimal comfort. These would look super cool with a leather jacket and combat boots or pumps.

Saved-By-the-Bell-jeans

These retro Saved By the Bell jeans are reminiscent of everyone’s favorite TV show from the nineties. The funky styles were fresh, young, and so distinct. These cute denim jeans are remarkably similar to those worn by Lisa, Kelly, and Jessie. Step out in these and you’ll feel as cool as your childhood idols.

destroyed jeans

The sweet slice jeans are the perfect acid wash skinny jeans that should be in every woman’s closet! The faded wash shows off tan skin or illuminates light complexions with the peak-a-boo rips of the distressed style. The funky feel of these jeans can be enhanced with a beanie and a loose shirt. Ripped skinny jeans for women are no longer hipster or off-beat – they’re essential!

To reward yourself for the spring cleaning you’ve done, go out and buy these awesome steals. You’ll be sure to look great in all of these styles!

dENiZEN Totally Shaping Pull On Skinny Jeans Review

Before I get totally ready for the day and finish getting dressed, I wanted to snap a few pics of my dENiZEN Totally Shaping Pull On Skinny Jeans

skinny jeans front

I’m no model but I think these jeans fit my mom-of-two body absolutely perfect. The rise in the front and back are perfect for me and as you can see. They cover my mommy tummy and there is no gaping in the waist in the back like the other dENiZEN jeans. The length is a little too long for me, but I can just roll them up, which is a really trendy way to wear jeans right now anyway.

skinny jeans back

These are a size 2 regular (they come in long and short lengths too!) and I couldn’t ask for a better fit or feel. My measurements are currently: 24? waist, 31? hips. Hopefully that will give you an idea of the sizing and how they might fit you.

They are almost like wearing Denim Leggings! The pull on style makes the front flat so your shirts look smooth instead of bumping out where the button closure and zipper usually are. I would not wear these with a shirt tucked in, but they are perfect for wearing with shirts that lay on top and are long enough to cover the waist band.

Overall, I absolutely LOVE these jeans and have been wearing them a lot recently. Easy to throw on, very comfortable, stretchy yet hold their shape and I have found they are also fairly stain resistant. (Thank you to my two year old for that part of the test!)

I think you’re going to love my Today’s Outfit to stay tuned and I will show you the pics in a moment!

Women’s dENiZEN Jeans are available only at Target and Target.com for around $28 per pair. I recommend that you try them on in the store to find which style fits you perfectly. (I also noticed they also have their totally shaping skinny jeans available in red, pink, purple and teal! click here)

dENiZEN Totally Shaping Skinny Jeans Review

Last Thursday, January 31st, before I dressed up in my with the purple Waterproof Ahnu Laguna Boots that we’re giving away (Last chance to enter is Feb 16th at 11:59 PM), I had the hubs take a pic of the dENiZEN Totally Shaping Skinny Jeans that I received to review.

DSC_0462

As you can see above, they look pretty great from the front. The thighs and hips fit well, they are a little long for me (I’m 5’2″) but overall they are great.

Just one little problem that I seem to have with a lot of jeans… A large gap in the waist in the back.

DSC_0465

I have no yet figured out why some jeans fit perfect and why some are enormously huge in the waist and gaping in the back. They fit perfect everywhere else! I couldn’t size down because then the hips and thighs would be too tight. These are another pair of jeans that I will end up always wearing with a belt or will put into my “bring to a tailor someday” pile that is getting quick large…

Outfit Ideas: Chipotle Veg Head Skull Tee

Wondering what to wear to the playgroup this week? Want to be fashionable AND comfortable? I’m wearing a really unique Chipotle Veg Head Women’s Tee made from 100% organic cotton, designed by Loomstate and made in the USA. I absolutely ADORE this tee because it’s quirky and cool. I love anything with skulls on it (as you might have noticed a few things in my wardrobe have skulls) and this tee is no exception. It’s my FAV tee right now because of the super soft material and the adorable graphic.

Outfit Ideas: Chipolte Skull Tee & Sweatshirt

Wondering what to wear this weekend? Chipolte Mexican Grill has clothing now! I’m wearing one of their new Skull Tees and a Chipolte Logo Sweatshirt with my new dENiZEN Pull On Skinny Jeans. These jeans are seriously comfy… They pull on like leggings, aren’t too low cut (I hate pants that don’t cover my butt or come up high enough in the front to conceal my belly blub) and best of all, they are stretchy!

Chipolte Skull Tee & Sweatshirt

I absolutely love this tee. The graphic is amazingly detailed and totally unique. “Dia De Los Muertos” or “Day of the Dead” is actually a colorful celebration of life in Mexico and this tee represents that in a wearable way. Oh and, it’s made from 100% organic cotton too. Yeah, I thought you might like that!

Today’s Outfit: TJ Maxx Score Outfit #1

Last week, I scored big time at TJ Maxx! What would have cost me over $1,500 in a department store cost me around $200 in T.J.Maxx! Oh yeah, I’m a Maxxinista baby…

I bought mostly wardrobe staples and accessories that would bring my summer wardrobe into Fall without too much effort (or cost). One of my favorite items I purchased was a cropped faux leather jacket that was on sale for just $20! I an IN LOVE with this jacket!

My other favorite score were these rust colored ponte knit jeggings that were only $14.99!!! I can wear them with so many different things through the entire Fall season AND probably into winter too!

Here are 2 different outfit examples of items I purchased at TJ Maxx that feature the black jacket and the rust colored skinnies…

Both of those gorgeous blouses I bought at TJ’s too – one for $12.99 and one for $14.99. And those absolutely adorable animal print studded ballet flats practically jumped into my shopping cart all by themselves… Seriously. They knew they had to come home with me. And at only $16.99, I wasn’t going to protest.

It got cold, fast, here in New England so I wasn’t about to wear a thin blouse today. So I’m wearing a black long sleeve shirt under a gray sweater (two things that were already in my wardrobe) and I’m wearing them with that black leather jacket, the rust colored jeggings and those studded ballet flats. Super cute and super comfy!

We want YOU to score big at TJ Maxx too! Enter our TJ Maxx giveaway for a chance to win a $100 gift card for TJ Maxx! TWO WINNERS will be chosen!! Enter for chance to win today!
