Petunia Pickle Bottom Partners With Disney

Petunia Pickle Bottom (www.petuniapicklebottom.com) just announced the release of their brand new, limited edition collection of cute diaper bags to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the well-known “it’s a small world” attraction at the popular Disneyland® park.

‘Sashay Satchel’ Organic Cotton Diaper Bag – $119.99 *

Petunia Pickle Bottom’s fashionable diaper bags are part of a whimsical and fun collection of children’s clothes, accessories and shoes that were all hand selected by Disney. The collection is inspired by well known artist Mary Blair’s original mid-century Disney artwork created for the theme park attraction and of course by Walt Disney’s belief that we are united in our love of all children and our dreams for a better tomorrow.

Glazed ‘Boxy Backpack’ Diaper Bag – $169.99

The first collection is inspired by Mary Blair’s art of Japan and features a breathtaking oriental print. Throughout the year new patterns will be debuted based on other Small World countries as well so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for items from India, Scotland, and Russia!

The Springtime in Japan collection of diaper bags called “Japanese Tea” are currently available and can be purchased at Nordstrom and PetuniaPickleBottom.com.  The Sashay Satchel retails for $119 and the Boxy Backpack retails for $169.

*Sorry for the typo earlier! No PPB bags for $19.99 unfortunately!

Timi & Leslie 2 In 1 Backpack Diaper Bag Review

Looking for the perfect convertible diaper bag that goes from a shoulder bag into a backpack in a snap? Look no further than the Timi & Leslie “2 In 1″ Backpack Diaper Bag.

Available in 4 retro prints, this versatile bag allows you the freedom to attach the bag easily to a stroller with the included hooks, carry it over your shoulder with the comfortably padded shoulder strap or zip out the backpack straps and throw the thing over your back. It’s the MOST versatile diaper bag I have ever seen or used.

Here’s the low-down on the bag…

The timi & leslie 2-in-1 Backpack Diaper Bag gives you two bags for the price of one. Tuck away the cross body strap and wear the bag as a backpack, or zip up your backpack straps and wear the bag as a messenger bag. It also hangs on the back of your stroller! This lightweight, durable bag is made from water resistant poly-canvas accented with silver hardware. With 15 pockets and lots of features, you’ll always be organized: Custom timi & leslie non slip stroller straps, Detachable, adjustable cross body strap with non slip, comfy shoulder pad, Tuck away ergonomic backpack straps with non slip comfy padding will keep you back feeling great, Water resistant lining, One exterior back zipper pocket to tuck away your backpack straps or should strap, One front exterior zipper pocket, One front exterior flap pocket with three interior mesh pockets, two exterior side pockets, two interior insulated bottle pockets to keep bottles warm or cool, Changing pad, PVC free.

I’ve been using this diaper bag for about 2 weeks and I love it. It’s definitely not over-sized, so all you first time moms that like to bring EVERYTHING but the kitchen sink might find this bag a wee bit small. I managed to fit the following into my bag…

  • Full size wallet
  • Slim wipes case
  • 4 diapers
  • extra outfit
  • cell phone
  • bottle of water (has room for 2 bottles, but I breastfeed)
  • small toys
  • baggie with pacifier
  • small makeup case
  • Desitin

Backside with Backpack Straps Out

Totally packed, the bag isn’t too heavy to carry. I usually wear my son in a Maya Wrap when I’m out and about and it’s easy to throw this bag over my other shoulder or wear it as a backpack. I wish I had it when I went on a trip last month. This would have been ideal going through the airport! My only complaint with this bag would be that it might be a little too small for some moms to carry everything they need. I also am not personally crazy about any of the 4 available prints this bag comes in, BUT my favorite one would be the Mackenzie Black print (shown above). It’s a little “loud” for my taste, but the least conspicuous of the four. It would have been nice if one of the available colors had been a solid color like brown or black or grey.

I still highly recommend this bag because it’s one of the most versatile diaper bags on the market!
