iOffer_logo Okay, so if you didn’t read Buying With iOffer – Part 1, you might want to go run and do that real quick so you know what I’m talking about!

I was delighted to actually receive the Betsey Johnson Faux Pearl & Gold Tone Belt that looked really similar to the fabulous Anchor Necklace Isla Fisher Wore In Confessions of A Shopaholic.

After further research I found that it retailed for $55 on BetseyJohnson.com. (Style Number: 214426)

It’s a linked goldtone chain and a strand of faux pearls meet in the middle of a nautical-style necklace, dangling with an anchor pendant and tiny ‘BJ’ heart. So it turns out it’s actually a Betsey Johnson ‘Anchor’ Long Chain Pearl Necklace and not a belt…

But that’s ok, I’m happy with it! As a necklace, the anchor hags about 3 inches below my belly button so I’d have to wear it with a dress. It’s definitely long enough for me to wear as a belt too so it ended up being a really versatile piece.

So my first experience shopping on iOffer has been positive. I received the item, it’s beautiful and I saved a few dollars off retail. I offered the seller $35 including shipping & handling. The seller accepted my offer, yet charged me an additional $5 for shipping & handling which kinda ticked me off, but $40 for a $55 item isn’t too bad I guess. I usually like to save more money than that, but oh well!

Thanks to Haute PR for introducing me to iOffer! I’m going to do some more shopping and share my purchases with you soon.

So I’ve been attempting to use iOffer.com for a few days now since I was pitched by Haute PR to try out the site.

iOffer_logo I’m a master at using eBay, but I found iOffer to take more than a minute to get used to. They have a lot of items though! I quickly found that iOffer is your one stop shopping resource for affordable handbag replicas. eBay doesn’t allow sellers to list items as replicas or fakes. However, iOffer has no such rule so you can pick up a replica of a $500 Coach bag for less than $50 or a pair of fake Christian Louboutin pumps for less than $75.

But besides a plethora of replica handbags, they also have a nice variety of real designer items and the first things I searched for was Betsey Johnson! (She’s one of my favs)

I was lucky enough to find a Betsey Johnson Faux Pearl & Gold Tone Belt that looked really similar to the fabulous Anchor Necklace Isla Fisher Wore In Confessions of A Shopaholic.

I offered the seller $35 including shipping & handling. The seller accepted my offer, yet charged me an additional $5 for shipping & handling which I don’t understand… Then she proceeded to tell me that she took the tags off because she was thinking of keeping it for herself because it’s so beautiful…. Who lists something for sale and then takes the tags off while waiting for an offer? That doesn’t make any sense to me…

So I’m anxious to get the item and see if it’s real, new or moreover, if I even actually get the item! ha!
